A lovely fresh butter fish and nan bread a little dry as no accompanying sauce was provided. The drinks were the most expensive I had in India usually RS200 but RS 300 here and that good.Service was not particular good, may come back, but not rushing! At least they take cards...

This place was previously known as Bethel Vegetarian Restaurant, and nothing has changed except the name. It is still run by the same lovely family, menu and location are the same.Being close to our hotel, we popped in occasionally for lunch or a light supper. Although they offer a whole range of Keralan and Indian food, for us their USP are the wonderful healthy juice drinks and smoothies, and their fabulous salads - things you don't usually find in Kovalam. There is a vast choice of juices and smoothies, some really great combinations, and everything we tried was delicious. Their range of salads is also exceptional for Kovalam. We had their chickpea salad several times, it is simply the best - full of healthy vegetables and great flavour. The Greek salad was not really a Greek salad because feta cheese was not available on that occasion. To their credit they mentioned this when I ordered, and offered an alternative cheese. Although it was not authentic, it was actually rather good. And the egg curry and chapatis we had another time was exquisite - someone in the kitchen can certainly cook! A humble little restaurant that delivers great food and service with a smile! A very modest prices, we usually paid between INR450 and 550. Recommended!

This be the nicest cafe in kovalam. Great food. If you are looking for taste and quality of food, not class of dining, than this is probably the best in here. Very humble owner and staff.
