Been going to this restaurant for 9 years; Michele, the owner and operator is there every night. His staff, is the most friendly and professional we have encountered in the 12 years we have traveled throughout Italy. It is the only restaurant that serves, cozze al griglia, a taste treat you will never forget. The pizza by Roberta is the ultimate. If there was a 6 star rating, I would give it that. Bosco is a small hamlet on the eastern slope of Monte Bulgheria in the Cilento. It has two restaurants, one of which is Da Romeo, specialized in pizza's as well as pasta's. The menu is rather unclear about those pasta's: they have numbers, instead of names like spaghetti or ravioli. So we decided on two pizza's, a tonno e cipolla (tuna with onion) and a mareschiallo (marshal, a kind of diavolo). First of all, they were really large. Second, they were good enough - but that's it. The ristorante's interior is rather awkward, it lacks atmosphere, and the waiter knows that he won't see you again. If you are in Bosco, it is better to drive down to the seaside: there are several nice restaurants in Scario, about 7 kilometres away, among them pizzeria's on the lungomare (boulevard) and in town.

This place offers various small dishes from pizza slices to pastas and grilled vegetables, which can be combined to a full meal. Across the street there is a small terrace to enjoy your meal with a nice sea view.

Appena finito di mangiare la loro stupenda pizza.... Ci siamo tornati per il secondo anno con molto piacere ci rimarrà il gusto speciale di questa pizza per tutto l annoveramente buona leggera e ad un ottimo prezzo. Abbiamo assaggiato i fritti misti ma troppo oliosi... Non li consiglio... I dolci ottimi. Ci rivedremo continuate così con la pizza

Stasera siamo ritornati a cena. Accolti sempre con grande simpatia dalla famiglia Caputo. Cena con focaccia a bruschetta con pomodorini e aglio. Per ne bistecca di vitelli alla brace e ottima ciambotta. A mia moglie puzza bianca con mozzarella e cipolla. Ottima birra, acqua e caffè. Prezzi più che onesti con ottimi rapporto prezzo qualità . Parcheggio pieno, termometro della sempre più apprezzata conoscenza. Forza ragazzi che meritate sempre più anche se adesso aperto, per ns. fortuna, nel weekend.

We stopped here on the way to Lecce from Naples in the middle of October. Although the waitresses were wonderful (speaking fluent German, English, and some French), the food was atrocious. We started with the octopus (which was ok) and also ordered the meat tray with a pork chop, veal chop, and sausage.We can only guess that the chef was not present, because what came back was a burned pork chop, extremely rare veal chop, and partially cooked sausage. None of it was edible. We would have sent it back and asked not to pay for it, but we just wanted to get out, so we paid and left.

First of all explore the hill down of Camerota and all its steep alleyways. Once you worked up a sweat stop for a drink and lunch / dinner at this Osteria. Great location in a small alleyway. Friendly service. We only stopped gor a drink but will come back for dinner. Great ambience and athmosphere.

Eating inside or out, lovely big pizzas arrive with a friendly welcome, good wine and some delicious cakey biscuits to follow. A homely, warm place with good straightforward food in a beautiful, small hillside town.

Sulla strada per Maratea ci si può fermare per una gradevole sosta culinaria in questo piccolo ristorante, capace di offrire piatti locali di assoluta genuinità a prezzi contenuti. Buoni i fusilli ai porcini, ottimo il capretto alla griglia. Da provare.

Today I have had an amazing dinner here in this lovely place on the hill of Acquavena near the Palinuro coast. I live in England but I come from Napoli - Italy and when I go back to my native town for holiday I like to return in my favourite places not far from Napoli. In summer time I love to go to the Cilento coast and in particular in Palinuro. In this area my favourite restaurant is U Trappitu: here you can eat an excellent meat that rarely you find in other places of the world. I strongly recommend to eat "Grigliata mista" which is a mix of different type of grilled meat. Here you can also eat a delicious cake named "Ricotta e cioccolato" which is made whith ricotta cheese and chocolate.
