The place is on a hill, 2 kms from the village centre and 8 kms from the seaside. Eating in the terrace is priceless: the view on the Policastro's gulf is simply amazing! They serve mainly local products and home made, delicious food, a lot of meat is served so you should inform in advance if you are vegetarian. Choice is quite reduced, but still eating there is really worthy both for lunch and dinner! They serve only local red wine (don't ask for white wine) and you can ask for some ad hoc infusions if you wish. In general they serve copious dishes. As for breakfast, they don't have big choice either: bread with jam, or sometimes a home made cake.Anyhow, service is simply excellent (thank you Cesare, you're awsome!!!! Also, sometimes he had to keep the donkey far from the terrace because it likes staying with people!).

I go with my family in this restaurant . We eat superget with calamari with sqeet and tomato source ,and second dish. ,big greellled robuster ,crabs,and mediteranian fish all prepared with very profesional chef Alfonso .we leave in zanzibar ,but when i came back in itali,icome to visit again Alfonso,Ciao President

We stopped here for lunch on a cycling tour of the area. It was my favorite antipasti of the trip (and I ate a lot of great antipasti)! The eggplant was particularly delicious.

Had dinner at this cozy restaurant! Ristorante Moses offers a wide range of fresh fish (which was fished on the same day!)! Together with a fantastic kitchen-work the customer is able to taste a delicious fish and enjoy the view with a nice bottle of wine. Nicole, the restaurant owner, is very kind and helped us when we ordered with good advices. Can highly recommend this restaurant and will definetly come back!

We discovered this little gem at the end of our hiking tour from Marina di Camerota to baia infreschi. The setting is overhelming with tables being located in the garden. Shadow (which is rare in this exposed area) is granted by vine and a mulberry tree. The dish is typical food from the Cilento region, simple and delicious. The staff was very friendly, not too familiar with English but you will understand each other. We paid ⬠35 for two antipasti, two main courses, two cokes, two cafe, a bottle of water and one digestivo. Given the quality of the food and the location we regarded this as a bargain. If you arrive at baia infreschi by boat, it is just a 15 min walk to the top of the coast.

Had not read the reviews on the restaurant before going but we chanced on the place whilst walking round the area. Very pleased we did excellent service from beginning to end - starters and main courses were innovative and tasty and found the price for the area good - we have been here a week and this was one of the cheaper bills. Wonderful outlook over the port and would definitely go again.

Today I have had an amazing dinner here in this lovely place on the hill of Acquavena near the Palinuro coast. I live in England but I come from Napoli - Italy and when I go back to my native town for holiday I like to return in my favourite places not far from Napoli. In summer time I love to go to the Cilento coast and in particular in Palinuro. In this area my favourite restaurant is U Trappitu: here you can eat an excellent meat that rarely you find in other places of the world. I strongly recommend to eat "Grigliata mista" which is a mix of different type of grilled meat. Here you can also eat a delicious cake named "Ricotta e cioccolato" which is made whith ricotta cheese and chocolate.

Great food by Fabrizzo, a fantastic Chef and personal service from Guiseppi. This restaurant will be a great hit with the locals and tourists. When in Scario drop in for lunch or dinner. I bet you will love it.

The most beautiful view above the Cilentana Coast nearby the Golfo of Policastro. The food is fantastic and everything is produced at the Agriturismo. Brilliant hosts and great service! Umberto and Pasquale make you feel very welcome. They truly were fantastic. You can take excellent walks directly from the Agriturismo or from San Giovanni a Piro, that let you reach the beautiful Coast. I would recommend to anyone!

This was one of the better recent dining experiences in rural Italy. Interesting farm building, including a small upstairs terrace which is exceptionally pleasant on a warm evening. The pace of the service was slightly slow, but given the setting this can not be considered a complaint. In fact, the hostess/owner explained each dish on the menu in some detail, which was greatly appreciated and enhanced the experience. The antipastas, pastas, main courses and dolces were varied and made of quality, fresh ingredients. Even the local wine was a joy. And the prices, especially when compared to much of the rest of Palinuro, were very reasonable. If visiting this area it would be a pity to miss U' Brigante.
