Very beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere. The prices are a little bit steep but I think that it was worth it. The food is good and the quantity is acceptable as well. The variety is nice as well with multiple good choices. The only negative point are the mentioned prices as it is a bit more expensive than the average restaurant. Found this restaurant whilst walking around Luxembourg needing a drink at lunchtime. It was indeed a great find. Stayed for a while having a few drinks at the bar, and decided to return in the evening for Tapas. The food was superb, service excellent, and an extensive choice of wines. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, making this a must if you visit Luxembourg.

Really nice small Italian restaurant near the station.Its nicely furnished , creates a good atmosphere. The food was excellent, the Duck breast was perfectly cooked, the house red wine more than adequate. Service perfect. Only issue was that we wanted to return on a Thursday night but they don't serve dinner that night, its some sort of free food buffet with drinks? I will return( but not on a Thursday)good afternoon,first of all we are really thankful for your review.effectively on Thursday we usually organize theme events: Italian buffet party (briscolino), wine tasting...we are really looking forward to welcome you again and on this purpose to provide you the best organizing experience we suggest you to reserve your table via phone/email (or check our FB page to be sure there are no events)best regards

Together with some colleagues we enjoyed our dinner in Restaurant Grec Athena. As the name already suggests, guests can opt between a large selection of Greek specialties. The dishes are very tasteful and large in portion. Prices are slightly higher compared with other Greek eating houses, but the excellent quality of the meals justifies this price tag. Finally, the hospitable and friendly service is an additional asset.Restaurant Grec Athena is within walking distance of the train station. Guests are welcome from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 18:30 on (closed on Mondays and on Saturdays only open in the evening). Due to the great popularity, it is recommended to reserve a table in advance. The only point of improvement I can touch on, is the limited distance between the tables. This makes the eating room sometimes quit noisy.

Just off the centre of Lux, but 2 mins walk from Place D'Armies is this superb little family run restaurant. Charming without being stereotypical it has a nice front room and further space at the back. Happy to help translate the menu into English. Their house speciality seems to be the whole squid which does look very impressive. I opted for the lamb kebab. Nicely cooked, with peppers it came accompanied with rice and a side of Tzazaki. Very nice meal overall and will return

Definitely one of my favorite places in Luxembourg. Today, I had the strozzapreti beef and green pepper... delicious! and a cassata siciliana al pistacchio... gorgeous.As usual, the ambiance was relax (customers seem to feel at home) thanks to the good-natured chefs, waitress, and managers; yet, the service is attentive and diligent.Merci merci merci!

Beirao is located in Dommeldange and they are proposing a Portuguese cuisine. Their menu variates from different choices of meats, fishes and also vegetables dishes. The location is not a fancy one, decoration is rather simple and basic, their focus is driven on the quality and freshness of the food they are proposing. I opted for the grilled octopus to start followed by the grilled tuna with vegetables and rice. Portions are big and so are the sides, food is genuinely tasty, fresh and well grilled (the octopus was very tender), seasoned with only oil and a pinch of salt. The only small negative points were the spinach, they were certainly frozen and tasteless. Staff is warm, friendly and attentive. Prices are in line with the quality and the freshness of the products. I will certainly come back and I recommend this place if you like this type of cuisine.

Given it is a holiday today, we were lucky to get a reservation for two. The restaurant was packed out, and we can see why. The service was friendly from staff and the 'owner' (we assume) who was very welcoming. The food was as good as it gets, and the service excellent despite the full house. We had read other good reviews on Tripadvisor, and therefore expected it to be good. And it was!

Restaurant-pizzeria Stella Rosa was a surprise to me. It is located in a calm neighborhood. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes it cozy and elegant. I was welcomed by the host, who speaks English, and settled me in a very good table. The menu is big and with a great variety of dishes. The waitress are very welcoming, helpful and polite. The meals are huge, tasty and well cooked. I had a calzone, which made my plate look small. The wine was also good. The same is applied to dessert: enormous Chocolate mousse. The price is fair and good. And finally the soundtrack is amazing (Queen, Bryan Adams among other classics). I really recommend this restaurant. If I could suggest: add an English menu. None of the waitress spoke English, hence I had to "Google Translate" everything I needed. Though they were extremely helpful, I know this makes other people waiting. Still, I will definitely go back. There are more dishes I need to try. We drove from Luxembourg City to try Niz Art after finding out that Niz had won an award for a world-beating Calzone. Naturally I tried the Calzone, and was not disappointed. It was the second best Calzone I have ever had. I'm reserving the top spot for something I might have in the future. My partner had the spaghetti flambéd at your table with Asbinth in a huge empty parmesan round. If you're a fan of aniseed, just try it. I had a glass of Chianti which was recommded to me by, and it was superb. The service, and the atmosphere are great, and we'll most definitely be back to try more...
