I stayed at Casa Carolina for a few days and ate at Eli's several times and even chose to return for one last meal after I'd checked out on the last day. The setting is wonderful, so relaxed overlooking the pool in an enclosed atrium of the hotel with swing seats to relax in before and after your meal and greenery to complete the ambiance. The staff are all lovely and very accommodating and friendly, always with a cheerful smile. I loved the food and enjoyed choosing several different options over a few days - each one being wonderful. Beautiful flavours cooked to perfection and presented in a very attractive but unpretentious way at a very reasonable price. I loved it!

We found this restaurant while strolling the streets of Santa Marta in the late afternoon / early evening looking for a suitable place to eat. It was a great choice.There are actually 2 restaurants in the same location here, but with different kitchens and menus. Our choice was served by a very wide menu and I would recommend any of the sea food dishes or a nice steak.Service was attentive without being suffocating and, because we were seated outside, we had an excellent view of all of the very large number of street entertainers who ply their trade at nighttime in this very central position within Santa Marta. We saw many musical acts, ranging from solo performers to a diverse range of bands offering a multitude of styles of music. We also had some very exciting hip-hop performers who entertained with some prodigious and gravity-defying routines.Yes, if you're ever in Santa Marta then do sample what's on offer here, both the food and the ambience.It's a fabulous mixture of Colombian and Carribbean culture and you'll long remember it I'm sure.Thanks for your comments and for sharing your experience with us! Food was excellent. A modern twist on Mediterranean ... lots of flavour and variety. Worth a try. Service was ok and atmosphere on the patio a bit annoying with non-stop street hustlers... not the restaurants fault - i would dine inside next time. Thanks for sharing with us!

Best breakfasts in town! Lots of healthy/vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free/local options. Also the salads are HUGE and a great deal for what they cost. I got the falafel (insider tip: ask for the calabaza falafel instead of regular-- it is out of this world!). Meat eater friends loved the chorizo pita and the southwest (chicken, bacon, guacamole, Chipotle). Everything is made in house (the bread, the almond milk, the meat is smoked there, everything!) Definitely options for everyone for a great price. You will leave with a full belly. Also great to just stop by for a smoothie or coffee. Super refreshing! Thanks a million!

For a restaurant in business only four months, SENSES has great food and an inventive menu. The service is still working out the glitches but they are enthusiastic. Give this one a chance and you won't be disappointed. Reasonably priced.

Nice enough place .. super busy which is always a good sign.. food was nice .. but so special that I would return for round 2. Peeking into the kitchen - the cooks seemed to be working with care + precision which is nice to see from ones table .. but the food was really rather simple ... in a high end way.Thanks a lot for your visit. After being ignored at dinner last night and eating possibly the worst breakfast ever (at the creperie - tough scrambled eggs and cold coffee) we were feeling pretty miserable in Taganga. Then we found Babaganoush and our spirits lifted.Humous and bread on the house, great service, good wine, amazing craft beer (some made with coca leaves) with water from the Sierra Nevada.The food was amazing too pumpkin soup, crab cakes, fish fillets. Weâre coming back here until weâve eaten the whole menu!
