Well, who would not be impressed with the view from this great restaurant. Merano and its surrounding mountains seem to be at your feet. We eat on the sun kissed Terrence enjoying a lovely early autumn lunch.Our food was delicate and very tasty. I had the troffiette with mushrooms and cheese and my partner the pasta with veal ragout and truffles. The Apfestrudel desert with homemade vanilla ice cream was lovely too. Great wine selection by the glass. It is not a cheap eat, but it is well worth it.

It has been a while since we were there; but, we are planning to go back soon. This magnificent gem in the Italian Alps is a five star experience! Fabulous views, spectacular food, and the ambiance of a Hapsburgâs hunting lodge! This is a rare find while climbing the Brenner pass either on your way to Austria or visiting Italy.
