We came across this place purely by accident after following a footpath from Thassos town out to the headland and up to the Roman theatre.As the theatre was closed for works, we retraced our steps and followed the music down to Karnagio. It was just what we needed after a long hot walk and we sat on the deck by the sea with a drink and a hot waffle and ice cream and relaxed. There is a small beach and sun beds and what looks like good snorkelling, although we didnât go in the water. Will definitely revisit now we know where it is - good service and a decent lunch menu too.

The tables are under the the trees, with hanging lamps, nice music and relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious, we loved the octopus, the shrimps, fried squid and sea bream. Although in a touristic area, this tavern is not at all touristic and offers very fresh food cooked in a very tasty way!

Just come back from Golden Beach and this was my favourite restaurant. The food was amazing, the ambiance chilled, with nice music in the background. The staff were friendly and attentive. The quality of the food was fantastic and I was spoilt for choice and it wasnât very expensive. A really nice experience.

Weâve eaten at Palude three times now... one of our favourite restaurants. Great service and great food the Mousakka is to die for. Most nights they have live music as well. Highly recommended

Lovely greek resturant, great service and food, on the same street as a lot of other resturant. however the waiters was not eager to pull you in, when you walked by so you could look at the menu, in your own pace. Very authentic food, and only smiles and laughs.

I could copy and paste the same review as I did before that this place gives the standard Greek fare and its outstanding selling point is the pizza and the chicken souvlaki, Greek salad and tomato and mozzarella salad. This time however, the service was much improved with the kitchen keeping up! You can't go wrong here; it's such good value.

What can I say that has not already been said, I just concur with all of the positive comments with regard to this quality restaurant.We went with two of our Greek friends to celebrate our anniversary, and had the most wonderful evening.Great table, crisp white linen tablecloth, table perfectly laid, and waiting staff, ready, but not over attentive.Food was spectacular, Octopus starter, followed by Sea Bass. All washed down with a Chateau Nikos Lazarides Sauvignon Blanc.Great friends, Great Service, Great Food, Great Location.

Fantastic food and great service at this Taverna. Sat right by the end of golden beach you van enjoy a great and varied menu that included many vegetarian options. We tried a selection of different Greek starters which were delicious and the mains included a traditional mousaka, grilled halloumi slouvaki and their veggie burger that was all very tasty. Kids enjoyed spaghetti bolognese, chicken nuggets etc..My favourite dish was the fried zucchini with tzatziki and reccomend trying it.
