We stopped here for lunch during a shopping trip and I'm so glad we did.The 'sandwiches' were so tasty that I could have eaten 2.There were lots of different fillings to choose from and alcohol too.Lovely seats outside to people watch all of the shoppers.

Traditional Tuscan cuisine prepared at a high level. Nice choice of items you don't see at most restaurants in the area, like anchovies, pigeon, rabbit, or even cod stuffed ravioli. Other items accommodate the more mainstream palate, so there is something for everyone. Nicely plated, with excellent service. But prices are high, which also differentiates this place from most others. But honestly don't think it's really worth the extra cost, even though the food was overall nice. Lunch for 3, with no dessert, for Euro 83! That stings a bit, and so that detracts from the overall enjoyment. I've had tastier, more creative food in the region for less. I really want to like it, but there is a fine line being walked here. Take heed.Gentile Francine,"... High Quality Cuisine ... items you do not see in most Restaurants in the area ... Family run restaurant from two generations, Santorotto offers freshely cooked traditional Tuscan food and a selected wine list to compliment the food. Specialising in 'Fiorentina' (big cut steak from the local breed of particularly big cows, called Chiani
The owner cooks himself. The antipasti platter, turkey and beef accompanied by vegetables was the best italien food we ever had. Ask for the vino rosso della casa. The charming waitress is the owners wife. We had a great evening for reasonable prices.

Typical Tuscan Cuisine - Certified Chianina Meat Grilled Meat on Wood Brace - Pizza Wood Bakery - Paninoteca Bar (Panini filled with local products at this time) National and International Liquors - pastries, breads and pasta are home made.
Me and my friend were returning from a weekend at the Terme and it was 5pm, all restaurants along the road were closed. Well we stumbled in this trattoria and found friendly owners and staff that allowed us a proper meal despite the odd hour. I had a Chianina steak which was delicious and very reasonably priced. If you're in the area to visit the Outlet or whether you are passing by as we were, stop by and sit down for a hearty meal and some friendly chatter.

The restaurant is known for its excellent quality of food and wine, and its focus on traditional cuisine: homemade delicacies such as Focaccia; Crostini; Mushrooms; Tuscanyâs amazing Chianina beef, (the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentinaâ grilled steak Flore
We live quite locally & have a choice of many restaurants & trattoria that serve a good standard of food. However, over the years, our 'go-to' eating place has been Pizzeria-Trattoria Napoli. It is consistently excellent, offering an extensive menu of Tuscan dishes, a changing menu of the day, & - my personal favourites - the lightest restaurant pici & the best focaccia around. The service is welcoming, informal & efficient, & the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is effortlessly authentic & attracts staff from surrounding businesses as well as tourists who stumble upon it. We've also dined here in the evening, when the 'Pizzeria' aspect comes into play along with the other menu dishes. (Non-tourist area pizzerias, with genuine wood-fired ovens, usually only operate in the evenings). If pizzas are your thing, this is one of the best, but book ahead in the summer if you want an outside table - another testimony to its quality.

Four days into our trip, and finally we have a meal that is authentic and to die for! After a long day, we were looking for somewhere close to where we we're staying. We hit jackpot! Our server, the owner, made us feel welcome immediately upon arrival and everything just got better from that point on. Everting was fantastic, the appetizers, the main courses, the second courses, the wine, the dessert, the after dinner drinks, ALL SUPERB!!!! Everything ordered by everyone was absolutely two thumbs up! Appeared to be a locals restaurant, which probably speaks volumes of what we are reviewing here. Prices were VERY reasonable, especially compared to what we have been paying and getting elsewhere so far. This restaurant is run by a family, and their commitment to quality and service shows. The only negative thing I can say, is that we will be leaving the area tomorrow and won't have a chance to eat here again. â¹ï¸

This family-owned place in the heart of Betolle offers delicious regional cuisine. The service is authentic and welcoming, and we were positively surprised by the food. Pasta is homemade and also the vegetables were fresh. There is a good selection of wines. Prices are very fair. Best place in the village, if one does not want to spend a fortune.

This restaurant has a new management since 2 years. Already on the phone while booking a table, one could anticipate the kindness of the service. It was fully confirmed during our dinner: excellent service, not too fast, not too slow, very kind and professional. We have been recommended some wines to drink and enjoyed every bit of the evening. Food is genuine, fresh and delicious, with a nice presentation of dishes. Food is traditional Tuscan (meat, mushrooms, pici...).The price is also reasonable and makes this restaurant an extremely good deal (quality-price ratio is excellent). We will be back.

This is (among other things) a great spot to take a lunch break when driving the A1. It's easy to reach, the food is excellent and it's cheap. We had good pastas (inc. vongole, as it was on the weekend) and tagliati.

Wonderful dining experience with lovely, warm and friendly staff. Rabbit mousse appetiser was excellent. Lovely ricotta cake with pear. A bold and bitter pici pasta dish. Excellent homage to mushrooms. Well cooked pigeon with cacao nibs. Diverse and wonderful cheese course. A show-stopping pear and ginger sorbet. Pistachio cannoli with passion fruit sorbet. Excellent wine and vin Santo. Truly great night.
