Great Inn and Amazing Restaurant
Reviewed By ThePhotoGourmetWe arrived at Relais la Leopoldina as guests and depart as family !! We had the pleasure of staying at the relais for 13 nights and it wasn’t enough. Our room had an amazing view ! It had all the amenities required to keep my wife happy for the entire stay. Angela the Chef’s wife was a gracious and welcoming host. The morning breakfasts were a very pleasant surpise but then again Walter wouldn’t let anything pass out the kitchen door that wasn’t great. I love a good omelette and unfortunately very few places do it correctly, when I was served my first Omelette at breakfast I was in heaven !! The entire staff were very helpful and friendly especially Carmen. During our stay we had several romantic dinners by ourselves and hosted two small parties for our local friends. We preferred to dine outdoors and the weather did cooperate. Our guest were extremely happy on the patio with the great food and friendly service. rather than review every dish individually with you , I’ll give you a brief description of the cuisine. Walter uses seasonal product sourced in the local area many producers within a 10 minute radius. The menu is constantly changing according to product availability. He then prepares them perfectly being a master chef in the area for decades !! Most of the restaurant customers are locals and therefore it doesn’t close for the season like many in the area. Dress is smart casual. My only recommendation is don’t pass on the Steak it’s a life changing experience !!

Amazing place, people and food for a perfect Tuscan vacation and celebration

We contacted Giulia few months ago via Airbnb in search for the perfect location for our longtime dream to marry in Tuscany. Right from the start Giulia was absolutely charming and helpful with all of our requests, she helped us find our photographer and basically everything else that we needed. The villa itself is amazing, its well-located and has a stunning view to the surroundings. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and stylish, so as the kitchen and the shared living area which have everything you need and are well equipped. When we got to the villa, we met Giulia and the rest of her staff, they are all really delightful and caring people. Giulia is also a talented chef and can make the most delicious local Italian cuisine. At our wedding day they decorated the whole place, and made it exactly like we wanted, starting from the alter through the tables and flower decorations and design. Giulia, Stefania, Ricardo and the rest made our wedding a night we would never forget that was far beyond our expectations.

Lovely Family Run
Reviewed By borisgorbyI stayed here for 5 nights with friends and it was delightful. Family run so nothing was to much effort to help us. Rooms were spacious and nicely furnished and had air-con. Breakfast was included and was really good with a great selection. On the final night I had 23 friends to their restaurant and it was such great food and service, and they had even set a room for the kids to go and watch a movie. Its in a great location and very easy to do day trips. I would highly recommend this Hotel if you are visiting Tuscany.

Può essere una lettura istruttiva Ciò premesso ho prenotato questo albergo per una notte attraverso hotel s'.com, (Expedia) pagando regolarmente il prezzo e ricevendo o via mail la conferma della prenotazione. A poche ore dal check in ho ricevuto un messaggio da parte di Marco di villa Garibaldi che mi comunicava che l'albergo era al completo.aggiungeva che Hotel s'.com aveva comunicato un errore sulla prenotazione, implicava che l'errore fosse dell'operatore, mi diceva che lo aveva contattato (risulterà più tardi che ciò non è avvenuto, per stessa ammissione di Marco che non è riuscito a trovare numeri liberi) mi girava una schermata che in sostanza non diceva altro che non c'era stato aggiornamento dei dati(?)e sostanzialmente mi invitava ad arrangiarmi, e tanti saluti. Naturalmente l'ho chiamato e questo signore ha ribadito che non era un suo problema, e avuto anche la sfacciataggine di rimproverarmi di aver usato un operatore a suo parere poco serio. Ho fatto notare che quantomeno io sono un cliente online, tutelato da leggi europee verso chi commercia e chi eroga un servizio, ed è lui semmai, ad aver firmato un contratto con questo operatore, che lo rappresenta commercialmente a tutti gli effetti. Mi ha detto che aveva cercato per me (sic) e che non c'erano assolutamente posti dove dormire in tutta l'area a causa si un evento Jazz. A questo punto era evidente che io rappresentavo solo una perdita di tempo per lui. Con qualche difficoltà sono riuscito a contattare hotels. com, i quali nell'ordine: - ha confermatola mia prenotazione e una volta messa al corrente, mi ha assicurato che non ne sapevano nulla; - che si trattava di un overbooking sovente generato dalla mancanza di aggiornamento della disponibilità da parte del cliente: _ che avrebbero comunque provveduto immediatamente a "proteggere" il mio soggiorno presso una struttura pari o superiore. Dopo qualche minuto ero prenotato presso l'Hotel Forum **** a, udite udite, ben 4 minuti di distanza auto (2,4km) Il Forum era pressoché vuoto. Mi corre l'obbligo di aggiungere con servizi di alto livello, vastissimo parcheggio, un arredamento curatissimo, staff di entrambe i turni professionale e gentilissimo Ci hanno ricordato loro che la colazione (dolce e salata, ottima) era inclusa.(vedi recensione specifica Hotel Forum) Insomma questi due dipendenti avevano sinceramente chiaro il concetto di ospitalità che al Sig. Marco deve essere oramai sfuggito.
