Booked in advance for our first night in Sirmione.Glad I had done so, as people were willing to queue such is the quality of this restaurant.Casual atmosphere with fine dining food at very reasonable prices.Friendly efficient staff, well worth booking!Dear Guest,thank you so much for your words of great appreciation. The service in this place is absolutely appalling. The staff clearly donât want to be there. As far as food goes itâs hit & miss. My husband order a mixed fried seafood!!!! Really donât.... unless itâs for comedy value. Everything must just be thrown into the pan together. Some of the pieces couldâve been bounced off the ground it was so over cooked and some of the pieces had been coated & fried whilst still in their shells!!!! So given that there are MANY MANY restaurants around Iâd advise you to just find somewhere else to be honest. The drinks were nice and cold though .... when we eventually got them.

In the pretty small town of Gordone this lovely Michelin rated restaurant was pure delight. An intimate setting with friendly staff the food was delicious and not over priced for such fine dining. We had tuna tartar and scallops as starters. There was a gazpacho muse bouche then for mains we had the delicious sea bass in olive sauce and tomatoes with lovely creamy fondant potatoes. Prosecco to start of course! Terrific. If the hill is too much there is a small shuttle.

We went to Taver as a group of 5 adults and 2 children.As we approached the restaurant there were apperitives on offer outside (Prosecco, Rose and soft drinks) plus snacks / veg kebabs, olives, cheese.Once inside we were greeted with big smiles, shown to a lovely table where we could watch the children play in the dedicated playground and then proceeded to indulge in five courses of delicious food and wine. This has fast become a family favourite and we will certainly return.

Despite not having made a reservation,staff found us a table inside this quaint and wonderful restaurant. Food was of the highest quality and very tasty. Service was extremely efficient despite the fact it was busy on the night. I would definitely recommend a visit.

The restaurant is extremely well and tastefully furnished and there's room between the tables which is always a bonus. My husband adored the food, I was less enthusiastic as some of the combinations were a bit too particular for me, especially the bigoli which I had to give to him. I found them hard and quite rubbery and the taste of lemon was just too strong, instead I had hoped for something more subtle. The baccala however was very nice as was asparagus flan for starter, but the portion was rather reduced. There's a nice selection of breads and bread sticks which is to be appreciated. The prices are medium/high but correct for the context and the staff were young but efficient.

We wanted a good, simple lunch after an active morning. La Locanda did itself proud. I had the lasagna which is perhaps the best I've ever tasted. Noodles as light as a feather. Delicious!

Very friendly service at this modern styled restaurant, just one street back from the seafront, at the cathedral end of the old town. Staff were fun and friendly, food was well presented and tasty. Was accompanied by various little "treat" dishes between courses.
