Dinner this evening was exceptional. We bravely chose the five course sampling menu and enjoyed every one of them. The Osteria combines traditional Italian cuisine with innovative combinations having taken care to note any foods that we might want to avoid.
The ambiance was of a traditional family restaurant. There are just nine tables so the service is personal and paced to perfection. We were guided through each dish and were happy to accept the recommended local wines to accompany the fish and meat dishes.
Fine dining Ina relaxed environment in a lively lakeside town.

Ristorante con Pizza situato nel comune di San Falice del Benaco Fraz. Portese a circa 200 mt dal lago, ambiente sereno e confortevole che esce dagli schemi dei soliti ristoranti, colori vivaci e gente simpatica si mescolano con una cucina dai gusti pieni e intensi. La Pizza, un mix di prodotti selezionati e ricette d'un tempo, l'impasto che unisce una ricetta tramandata nel tempo con lunghi periodi di lievitazione a una farina macinata a pietra. Non dimentichiamo nessuno e per questo abbiamo inserito nella nostra lista anche impasti integrali dai sapori intensi, al Kamut molto digeribile e ricca di fibre. Per i CELIACI proponiamo impasti privi di GLUTINE. Ricordiamo anche la nostra sfida "PIZZOCOLO" se ne mangi due non paghi niente!!!

Okay, let me start with saying that I'm not cranky, I can differentiate between food and service and I know how to review. Just to make things clear. Because this place has terrible food, terrible service, are overpriced and isn't fun or interesting to stay at in any way.
Food:
I ordered the grilled sea bass. You can make such good things with fresh fish and a grill. Slicing it in half and refusing to add any seasoning isn't one of them. It was server with pommes duschesse that I strongly suspect came from a pre-made, frozen bag and had a strange artificial taste. €18!
My husband ordered the burger. It wasn't even cooked through and came with a tiny serving of fries.
We both left still being hungry, that's how small the servings were. Small servings for the highest prices around...
Service was totally uninterested. The waitress came up to take our order and to serve our food. Then we didn't see her again until she came to take out the dishes. Meanwhile she threw (literally threw!) a little pamphlet at our table, trying to lure us into buying dessert. Eh, don't think so! Note: this was during lunch time and the restaurant held 5 dining tables on two waitresses, so this was not about stress.
The surroundings was just a regular tourist restaurant.
To me it is a complete wonder how this restaurant ended up with this many good ratings. Perhaps we were just very unlucky but I wouldn't recommend anyone to take the risk going here. There are better restaurants in the area.

We only stayed in Gardone for the night and as most of our evenings start out, we turned to trip advisor. This place was suggested to us so we took a stroll down and found it quite busy. A restaurant down an alleyway off the lake front, they had some seats outside running up the alley and they found us a table for 2 out there. Being up the top away from the door, I was worried we would be missed but service was good.
We opted for pasta, a main, dessert and wine which was reasonably priced. I had some really wonderful truffle ravioli which I would really recommend. Our main of beef and fish were good and we enjoyed our sides of chips (I can only describe them as curled wedges, they were lovely!) and grilled veg.
Dessert was panna cotta and tiramsu, both were great. We would certainly recommend if you're in the area!

We can't recommend this restaurant enough! We've been on numerous occasions this year and we're sure the food keeps getting better and better! The service is perfect, the location and atmosphere wonderful and the food is delightful. We always recommend this restaurant, particularly to people who are looking for a real authentic Italian cuisine away from the standard pizza and pasta. It's a great atmosphere for couples, groups and families.

This restaurant always offers surprising new dishes with unusual ingredients. The host, Michele, is always ready to recommend new dishes and excellent wines. In fact, his wines are exceptional and it is now possible to drink just a glass from a wide choice of wines. It's always a pleasure to eat in this restaurant with its homely atmosphere.

I expected more than the restaurant after the review that I've read here. You need a reservation the day before. The staff don't speak English very well and they speak English-Italian and you have to understand it. The wi-fi is very slow. The restaurant is tipical touristicl - high price, unfriendly staff,overpriced.

The QB Duepuntozero, lake view version of QB Quanto Basta. Alberto Bertani, the chef, the hostess Irene, chef and former colleague for a winning team. It still points on the quality of the ingredients and the seasonality of raw materials as well as being at zero distance are fine and cooked with professionalism. We are waiting for a romantic dinner, a business dinner or simply to enjoy a good dinner in the new location.

A delicious dinner with an enchanting view and great service. A restaurant with a good choice for each course. spaghettini with oysters is exceptionally tasty followed by croaker with a really unusually tasty cream of celeriac. This restaurant also offers an excellent choice of desserts and I would recommend the macaron.
A very good choice for lunch or dinner.

Had lunch here....tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and spaghetti and meatballs... Surprisingly good flavors on the sauces and very tender meatballs! Portions were very good size, my wife couldn't finish all the meatballs, will make a great Sandwich tomorrow!
Not cheap at €40.00 for lunch for the two of us, but pretty good! The service was great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We ate lunch here several times during our visit to the area as we spent many days on the beautiful beach there. The food and service were excellent, even during the very busy lunchtime periods and prices very good for a restaurant with the most amazing views of the lake and Mountains.
