Best Latin food near Manama, Bahrain

Reviews on Latin food in Manama, Bahrain. Manama, capital of the island nation of Bahrain, is a major financial center with a thriving economy. A surplus of money has decorated the skyline with glass and steel spires, and plans for the tallest tower in the world. Although Bahrain is an Islamic country, alcohol is legal, and Manama has a thriving nightlife, with clubs and bars popular with visitors from all over the world. The narrow rows of stalls at the Bab el-Bahrain souk are famous for their vast array of perfumes, spices, and gold.

My friends and I had a great evening @ Downtownbar humming along with the resident band "DD and the Groove". They are a wonderful, perfectly-coordinated quartet and they perform popular numbers superbly. Sunday nights are their "Jam nights" and my friends and a few others in the audience sang along with the band to some popular numbers and "jammed the night away"!!! :) A good place to wind down over a reasonably priced drink/snacks either after work on a weekday or on a weekend.Dear Sharmila, We are grateful and happy to know that you had a great time during Jam night with us! We are so appreciate to having you and to sharing your experience!Looking forward to see you at Downtown soon to make your next visit more memorable and enjoyable!Best regards.

Cantina Kahlo

There are certain things associated with Mexico, their famous art scene and a rich culinary tradition among them. This restaurant brings those elements to life at this Bahrain hotel’s newest dining venue. Cantina Kahlo features salads, tacos, tamales and

Upon entering from the Trader Vic's restaurant to make our way to Kantina for Saturday brunch, we were greeted by the not-so-friendly faces of the staff. The brunch was below par and extremely underwhelming. Tacos were soggy, guacamole was bland and the menu/buffet selection was limited. The Cantina staff was unattentive, cold and dismissive. The price of the brunch was not worth it at all! I would say the best part of their brunch was the mariachi band. Also, when I asked for salsa to accompany the chips and bland guac, I was told there wasn't any. Really?Dear Laila Y,Thank you so much for sharing your honest feedback about your Saturday Brunch Fiesta experience. As we constantly strive to improve our services and facilities, we rely heavily on a feedback such as yours. We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest apologies for not meeting your expectations during our brunch service. My team and I are currently investigating on the matters mentioned; and in the meantime, we do look forward for another opportunity to welcome you back. the first thing that strikes you is the very friendly and helpful staff, who guide you patiently through the menu, size of portions, taste etc. Since we are pure vegetarians, this task was a bit more complicated. The meal was tasty, and worth every dinar we spent. The live band was great and added to the overall atmosphere. Definitely a place to patronise when in Bahrain on a visit.
