I had lunch at Tampopo - Japanese Ramen Shop on Salmiya (near Dar Hamad). I was waiting for the place to start serving lunch, and finally they did start this month. Lunch is served on Thursdays only at 12 pm. Staff are excited and well attentive, they will explain to you the options available while waiting in line outside the shop, to save time and serve you promptly. I was eager to experience the authenticity of the Japanese flavor at Tampopo. I had Onigiri (Japanese Rice triangle) as an appetizer and Japanese Thali Bento (Duck). The bento is served on Thursdays only. The Onigiri and the Thali were delicious with 100% full flavor. The egg was slightly runny but not eggy!. I had Kombucha for my drink and surely, I had to go for my all-time favorite of match ice cream (vegan) from OH G. By the way, the waiting line for lunch was a short one, however, the waiting time is worth it. SEE photos.

The best Japanese ice cream or dessert. The taste is so good that it just hits your taste buds on the spot. Will definitely go there. We had 6 different types of ice cream and they were all good.

The restaurant is near Abraj Kuwait with its large cornice, a heaven for walkers! The food is good, I had their buffet, it is tasty and they always put fresh items. They also have a stand to make some fresh grills, it comes really fresh and juicy. It is on the second floor of a building that hosts also the fish market on its ground floor and a nice Italian restaurant that is not there any more unfortunately. Lunch and dinner and a walk sounds a good plan!

i visited once close to my home , i loved the food presentation the restaurant overlook the sea however the inner decoration is not influencing , the staff were all busy with delivery orders affects the dine in service , the bad point was the food served cold like teriyaki and noodles however the food taste fine , i like the makis more , coming to the price its challenging but its kinda of resto that you can visit regularly

We really enjoyed our dinner at Maki Marina. The food was so beautifully served and incredibly tasty. Two of us four eat vegan and we were happy to see that there was a whole section of vegan dishes to choose from, and so creative also. Sometimes vegan sushi can be a bit simple but this was very high class. Also the service was very kind and attentive, meeting our every wish.
