We've been to Kitsu many many times, this was the first visit since the refurbishment and it's definitely looking smarter than before but with the same excellent quality and great selection of many Japanese foods and very good sushi. We felt that the service was really a bit too quick (first time ever this has been the case), no sooner had we ordered than our food arrived. This might be because they weren't as busy as usual, and it made our evening there feel a little bit rushed which was a bit of a shame.

I came here for lunch and the order was taken. I asked to have a glass of tap water with ice, which arrived in a dirty and smelly glass.Lunch was delicious but I always dread the toilets, the floors and the door handles in this plce. Once again these were all disgusting.The floors leading to the toilets are slippery grease and grime, the door handles are sticky with dirt and the toilets!! I've been to Kiko twice and did takeaway once, all three times I had the most delicious sushi! It tastes fresh and comes at a very reasonable price. The chicken kastu was equally good! The menu is overall a bit pricey, but if it's what you like then it's worth it. The staff were a bit pushy on both occasions, which makes it seem more of an in and out dinner restaurant rather than a whole evening dinner outing. Overall, would definitely go back or order for takeaway at least!
