My first visit to Ichiban was during one of my numerous visits to Dnipropetrovsk. Hidden on a side-street a few minutes from the Tsunami Hotel, Ichiban has a lovely decor, and subtle service. I had a selection of sashimi, followed by a soup dish comprised of meat and fish. I accompanied my dinner with Sake - a raspberry flavor which I had never tasted before. I would rank the quality of the sushi as above average (my benchmark is the sushi bar in the Grand Hyatt DFW Airport), and the service is gracious. None of the staff speak english which is alright for me, since I could point to images of the dishes that interested me. Restaurants like Ichiban have a lot of potential and if more tourists and international business travelers find their way to Dnipropetrovsk, there will need to be a gradual change to accommodate guests who do not speak Russian or Ukrainian. That aside, I was impressed by Ichiban an will most likely visit again upon my next visit to Dnipropetrovsk.

I came here the other night, the waiter was efficient and friendly. Though my Russian/Ukrainian is limited and his English was more so, he made an effort to ensure all was as I wished.The sushi was lovely and, though the place was busy, the service was very quick without feeling I was being rushed.I have been here with friends a few times previously and each time has been an enjoyable experience.Would recommend this restaurant to others. Reasonably priced and you can get tokens for discounts for future visits.

I'm here not the first time for breakfast. And as usual the breakfast looks and taste amazing. Btw, coffee was offered for free. The taste of coffee is also good. Service is friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere in this restaurant is posh and calm. You can relax and enjoy your meals. The restaurant has own style. You should try it.

Well coming restaurant with very friendly staff. Tested the tartar steak it was excellent and the veal steak also excellent. I appreciated the educate waiters behaviour. The restaurant is not very big so that it cannot be noisy.

When we first walked in I was immediately amazed by the stylish interior! Concrete walls, wooden furniture, plants and some other asian style interior elements - nothing excessive and unnecessary. They have a menu in english which is great for tourists. Although the menu isn't big, we still had difficulties with making a choice - we wanted to try everything! So we went for ramen and it was delishious. The good thing is you can choose which broth you would like, which style would you like your broth to be cooked and some extra fillings if you'd like. I would personally recommend their mango-pumpkin tea - it was really good! And the staff their was nice. Smiley and polite staff in tropical printed shirts made a good impression as well:) Deffinitely coming back another time in Dnipropetrovsk!

Really good food and nice atmosphere inside portofino. It's inside the mall. Stylish pods and quiet corners. Nice place to take business clients. Good variety of if food dishes. My friends and I decided to spent my birthday in the restaurant.All the restaurant's decor is stylish but all the atmosphere is pompous.The food was not savory because of the abundance in store bought mayonnaise.
