posto prenotato quindi arrivati e ci siamo seduti subito.ci è stato detto al momento delle ordinazioni che i tempi di attesa sarebbero stati lunghi,per qualsiasi pietanza.però locale era stra pieno e va bene.antipasto,una pizza e un primo arrivati tutti assieme(l'antipasto ,piatto di salumi, serviva per ingannare l'attesa, teoricamente)ma tutto comunque buono.il servizio ed il personale validi.purtroppo,il brutto è scoprire di aver addosso appena usciti un odore di fritto e cucina insopportabile.su tutto,al punto di arrivare a casa alle23e doversi lavare capelli per odore veramente intenso.aveva intriso tutto dalla giacca,alle calze,guanti(infilati in tasca)compresi.per questo ultimo motivo non credo che tornerò.peccato perché il mangiare mi è piaciuto!

We stumbled across Ristorante Martinet by complete accident, on a long drive out of San Remo, through France and northwards. The town was small and we thought ourselves lucky to find a place open. On entering the restaurant, we asked for a menu, but with our limited Italian, and the staff speaking almost no English, we were directed to the owner, who explained there was no menu, and that he cooked only typical local food. Once we had worked out through a few questions that they could feed my vegan partner, we were shown to the only table for 2 left in the place; this was the only negative part of the visit, as we were placed very close to, and squarely between, two elderly couples who seemed to take an uncomfortable fascination in our being their - the restaruant seemed populated entirely by locals.That aside, the service was very good as we were talked through the options available and ate two very good courses at a very reasonable cost. The manager and staff were very friendly and efficient and I'd certainly eat here again . . . though I'm not sure I'd ever find it again!

Were immediately told: âWe make traditional Mountain food from Piemonteâ; and that was truly the case. The only thing that needs to be added is that they do it well, in great atmosphere and with an excellent wine selection. We went for lunch and for dinner. Absolutely worth a visit or two. Book table!

Ate here with friends after reading the reviews. Beautiful little restaurant, very Italian, great decor, warm and welcoming. Authentic Italian food and great local wine . Just sit back and let the waiters take care of you while you indulge in gorgeous hams and homemade pasta Itâs a little pricier than other restaurants in the village but you get what you pay for.

Ristorante alla portata di tutti anche famiglie con bambini. Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. Tutti i piatti sono buoni e il conto giusto. Ottime le vere raviole vernantine. Ci torniamo sempre!

Dopo molti anni che non ci tornavamo, lâoccasione della Prima Comunione di una nostra cara parente, è stata unâottima occasione per riprovare questo ristorante e, nonostante lâaffollamento di persone dovuto al locale molto grande e a più festeggiamenti nella stessa giornata, siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti. Il posto gode di un bellissimo giardino, dove solitamente vengono offerti gli aperitivi a buffet ma, visto che nella notte aveva nevicato, tutto è stato prontamente spostato in un salone nel seminterrato che, per come era fatto, in altre occasioni, secondo me, funge da sala da ballo. Stuzzicherie non abbondanti ma ci si poteva servire a volontà e sufficienti per non rovinarsi il pranzo. Il menù era stato concordato precedentemente. Tutto buono, ben impiattato. Delle cameriere sempre gentili e sorridenti, nonostante la mole di lavoro, passavano a chiedere, ad ogni portata, se qualcuno gradiva il bis. Tavoli ben preparati per lâoccasione, vino buono. Data lâampiezza del locale, si riusciva a parlare tranquillamente tra commensali, nonostante, come già detto, la sala fosse molto piena. Nel pomeriggio, è stata messa a disposizione unâanimatrice per intrattenere i bambini con giochi, nel locale dove si era svolto lâaperitivo, ma non so se ciò avviene sempre. Essendo invitata, non saprei riferire i prezzi. Ottima impressione, da riprovare in unâoccasione meno formale.

A friend of us offered us a week end at the Relais del Nazionale and a dinner at their Nazionale Gourmet restaurant Nazionale just in front. It was superb! Christian, the owner and sommelier was super helpful and friendly. We opted for the traditional menu which was excellent. Special mention to the cheeses and the wines Christian chose for us. Fantastic!

We booked this restaurant thanks to the reviews on this site and were glad we did. We had not fully understood the set up - as an agriturismo, this is off the main road, in a small farmhouse with no formal menu. You simply turn up for dinner and are given 8 courses of incredible Piemonte food! The host gives you a history lesson of each course and informs you of what food is grown on the farm. The starters were incredible - wonderful meats and traditional dishes and the lavender "budino" still makes me salivate! Overall, a wonderful experience not to be missed!
