It was a bright sunny day in Noordwýk Holland. We were the first guests to arrive, the waitress was very professional. The bread served before the pizza (not usually done in Italy) was excellent. What surprised me was that the owner was strolling around the premises looking at us but not taking time to say hello, while we were waiting for our pizza. The pizza was nice but nothing to write home about, just a pizza outside Italy. In Holland the wood oven is not allowed while this gives the pizza the delicious Italian pizza taste. As we were in a hurry we could not have a real meal but we would certainly not return there.

I love this place for lunch. My favorite dish is the tartufi with fungi sauce. Also the tiramisu is excellent and the coffee is very good. Itâs tasty Italian food and one of the best little restaurants around.I will definitely return on my next visit to Leiden.

We visited on the recommendation of our hotel. It is a busy place with great food and service. Try the beef carpaccio, the salmon with pesto and the halibut. All were great. You need a reservation and it can be loud. Seemed like the mean age was 30.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendations of other Trip Advisor reviews, and we were more than pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in Sassenheim, not the place you would normally think of as a place of culinary delights, but this is a really good Italian restaurant. The staff were warm and welcoming, the waitress in particular was extremely good and remembered what each of us had ordered with no hesitation, which is not something you can always say about service in most restaurants. The food was extremely good, delicious and authentic. It was well presented and the portions were more than enough. There was a large choice of food on the menu, including pizzas and vegetarian and all is prepared and cooked from fresh; nothing seemed or tasted as if it was frozen or came out of a tin. The house wine was again remarkably good and the cappuccino was just perfect. We went as a group of 4, not quite knowing what to expect and were delighted by what we found. This is definitely a place that we would return to again and although not cheap, was certainly not expensive for what we had. Thoroughly recommended.

We were yesterday at the pizzeria. It is a cosy place, we order pizza, and antipasti, but at the very beginning of the dinner, we saw a mouse going from down the furniture to the air conditioner next the entrance.... a small black mouse climbing the wall, quickly!!!! In the restaurant there were a looooot of people but nobody noticed it... only us... we were astonished and we did not know what to do... if tell to the waitress, or leaving, or continue... we decided to eat quickly and leave... I know this things can happen, and maybe a mouse can enter... It is a pity as the food was really really good!!!!!!!Hey Conte D,First of all, good to hear you really liked the food and our atmosphere. Secondly, what an unpleasant surprise for you guys! Mice are our unwanted guests, we tell them everyday, use a professional company to try to keep them out, clean really well day after day, but unfortunately there can always be a really brave one that climbs walls and hides in airconditioners.Although I find your score of 1 a bit harsh (an maybe unfair), we appreciate you taking the time to write a review. First time and what a surprise. Excellent kitchen and atmosphere! It breathes Sardegna and italian way of life! We stumbled upon this little gem at lunchtime and had bruschetta and pizza. A warm welcome, great service, delicious food and at an excellent price. They cater well for children with smaller pizzas and a wide variety of pasta dishes. We will definitely return during our holiday.

The food is great, they have a menu but every day a different special of the day. The staff is ok, but especially Enzo, the head of staf is great! He is a great host and knows how to make you feel a special guest!

A very âItalian styleâ, cosy and welcoming restaurant. Staff very friendly and pleasant. The menu has a little for anybody, pizza, pasta and salads. I settled for the Ravioli Tartufati, a spinach and ricotta filled ravioli. It was an excellent choice and very tasty. They serve beer or wine and by the glass. Highly recommend this restaurant.
