We finally found this restaurant, and it was finally open (closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays).A young couple seems to run this place. Service a little hesitant, but charming. Nice interior decoration. Parking might be a little difficult. The food was more than decent. Good price/quality ratio. We'll be back.

Beautiful bar in the city centre Enjoy our lovely terrace! You can have a drink, a bite or a meal! The menu follows the seasons and changes constantly Great beers and a fine selection of wines.
This was a first...As a group of 4, we browsed through tripadvisor looking for some nice place to have a meal, and this restaurant popped out. After arriving, we noticed there were a couple of free tables outside, and almost every table was empty inside. After asking where could 4 persons be seated, we were told "Sorry, we're expecting many people tonight". [it was 20h]Asking again since there were many available tables, and none appeared to be reserved, the answer was "There are many places you can eat at Grote Markt".And the guy simply turned his back to us.We were polite, travelling to Kortrijk in business, and this is simply incomprehensible on our end.

5 of us ate here on a Sunday night. We were quite late in entering but were welcomed and shown to a table near the back of the restaurant. The food - pizzas and pasta dishes were all good and the portions were huge- biggest pizzas I've seen.Excellent and very friendly service, .

L'Osteria is well placed on a corner of the square. We sat outside but there was plenty of room inside if you wanted to be away from the crowds. Even though the square was busy, it wasn't noisy. The staff are all Italian - including the Chef - and speak at least two languages; our waitress spoke four - French, Flemish, English and Italian. There is a two course set menu for lunch at 12â¬, with a choice of two dishes for each course. Desserts and drinks are extra. Two of us had a very good meal, including gorgeous tiramisu, for 37â¬. All water is bottled - a jug of tap water isn't done. The restaurant is clean and well presented and I'm sure we'll be going back if we return to Kortrijk

Our pizzas are made by traditional method and baked on refractory stone, that way we can garantee the best quality.
I've had several pizza's over there, because I live in th evicinity. The taste of the pizzas is delicious and they have a good crust, similar to those in some Italian regions (Milano e.g.). The price is midrange, above the price in pizza-chains, but you get a better pizza for your money.
