First off, this restaurant is actually open on Mondays, something which many of the other restaurants in the city are not. It was completely busy the entire time we were there (arrive at 18:00 if you don't have a reservation as it gets full fast), with fantastic service, food, drinks, prices, and atmosphere. I honestly haven't eaten at a restaurant this good in a long time, and would not hesitate to return.

The Restaurant is small and cozy and quiet busy reservations is recommended. The food is nice and tasty.

The Torino is in the heart of Hamm close to Marktplatz. It has both inside and outside seating but on a cool March night I chose indoors. Service was quick and the staff were pleasant. With my drink a small free starter of mushroom salad was served. I ordered steak and it was good, with perhaps a little too much of the mushroom (funghi) sauce, but so tasty even though it was more mushrooms! The prices were reasonable and I wish that I had more time to try a dessert which looked so good - on my next visit perhaps!

Die Bar bietet ein total persönliches Ambiente, weil die beiden Gastgeber sich mit jeder Weinbestellung beratend ins Zeug legen.Die Weine sind stark italienisch und daneben deutsch geprägt (Letzteres vor allem Riesling). Die Preise sind alles andere als günstig, aber es gibt hier auch schlicht keine Billigweine.Die Atmosphäre ist im vorderen Barbereich (vor allem die Plätze im Schaufenster sind etwas Besonderes) und im mittleren Durchgang atmosphärisch sehr schön. Im hinteren Saal bekommt das Ganze etwas den Charakter eines Standardrestaurants.Warten wir mal auf den Frühling: denn hinten gibt es eine sehr schöne, ruhige Terrasse.

This is a proper Italian restaurant with an Italian owner and the wonderful Italian attitude to customers which embraces them warmly. The service is friendly and efficient, the food arrives in good time and has always been tasty. The menu ranges from the traditional pizza and pasta dishes to fish and meat as well as vegetarian. Unlike so many, this restaurant actually caters for those little wishes like "easy on the oil" etc. and if at all possible, special requests are fulfilled.The portions are generous without being silly and the prices are very reasonable.The restaurant has ample seating inside but also offers some lovely tables outdoors. You are next to a quiet country road and only yards from the Dortmund-Ems canal. A short walk from the restaurant is the Hiltruper See which is well worth visiting as it is lovely and peaceful (apart from the ducks and geese which often oblige with a fair bit of quacking and honking.. You could go for walks or ride a bike - Münster is extremely cycle-friendly and most roads have a dedicated cycle track.My wife and I go to Münster 3-4 times a year and we always seem to spend one evening here. What is it that brings us back? Above all, the friendliness of the staff, especially the owner who manages to remember us and treats us like old friends.A reservation is highly recommended even for weekdays, especially when the weather is good as the local people tend to fill the place - always a good sign. Highly recommended.

We had dinner yesterday at this wonderful cosy Italian restaurant. The menu was clear with all the traditionals in the starters, the pasta but also the carne and pesce dishes. I had a wonderful vitello tonnato for starters, followed by a rich and creamy spaghetti carbonara. Somebody in our party had had a succulent tagliata, it looked to die for!. They have a barrel with marsala and upon request you can have a bottle filled to take home. We will definitely be back here!Friendly waiter, open, artless service. I highly recommend this place!

From the outside the restaurant is not very promising.On the inside the decorations give a good Italian atmosphere but if you look closely you can see the history of this German building.The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Good wine advice and quick service.The carpaccio was made exactly as I like it perfect meat, fresh rucola, some oil and balsamico and salt and pepper. Perhaps a tiny bit too cold.The black pasta with squid was really delicious. It had been a long time since I have eaten it and now I know again what I missed.For sure I will visit again when I am in the neighbourhood.

Das Restaurant ist etwas sehr klein und daher sitzt man auch ziemlich beengt und in teils intensivsten Knoblauchdüften. Aber das kann sicherlich auch seinen Reiz haben. Das Essen ist in Ordnung - Gourmetfeeling haben wir nicht verspürt. Preislich ist der Anspruch allerdings schon gehoben. Fazit: Wer keine gehobenen Wunschvorstellungen hat, der kann sich hier wohlfühlen.
