Once in a while, you get very lucky and find a gem. This was my lucky day! Trying to find a restaurant within walking distance from our bed and breakfast, I stumbled upon this jewel. It is a combination store, wine cantina and very small restaurant (about 6 tables)but they serve up food fit for a king! Not only that, we sat in their cantinetta ( small wine cellar) that only accomodated one table. Simone, the owner, was our waiter and he made sure that our evening was very special. First, he brought us the tenderest and lightest fried pumpkin flowers. Then a seafood antipasto with octopus and a zucchini sauce (incredible). Homemade bread with carrots and pumpkin seeds as well as other delightful breads. Our entree was a risotto with porcini and a special cheese from the area. For dessert, profriteroles made in house with chocolate and whipped cream. OMG! This little place is on the outskirts of Bassano del Grappa in Romano d'Ezzelino. If you are ever in Bassano del Grappa, make it your business to go there! Sorry, but some of the pictures were of half eaten food...we got excited and ate before thinking about the pictures but rest assured, they were beautifully presented when they came out. If you are a wine connoisseur, you will love this place as well.

We had made reservation for this restaurant before leaving the USA. It was a delightful place frequented by locals. The owner warmly greeted us and Sylvia, our server, was so attentive and friendly. We decided to share the meal. We started with fettucine carbonara and then osso buco â both beautifully prepared and presented. Our total bill was ⬠50, which included the pasta, main course, water, bottle of wine, dessert, caffè, and cover charge. Everything was just delicious.

We were staying at Villa Ca Sette and read the restaurant had a Michelin Star. We were attended by a sweet waitress and orders were then taken by a male waiter with serious attitude. He had no patience and no manner spoiling our evening with his arrogance. When he brought food to the table it was almost as if he was doing us a favour and then depositing the plates in the table without a word. He needs serious training. Lack of English he did not have, just lack of mannersThe food was nothing to rave about. Roast beef slices curled around a plate with some green mash and asparagus fried with some dipping sauce in an empty egg shell

Michele

Mirasole is hidden away in the hills just outside Bassano. So switch on the GPS and go to this wonderful spot. The name, Mirasole, means 'sun sight' so you will enjoy panoramic views of Romano d'Ezzelino. The food is true 'cucina veneta'. Everything is made in the kitchen, nothing is shop bought. The flavours are delicate and balanced. The menu is quite small but broad enough to offer a good choice. I only wish that I could cook as well as this at home. The radio played while we ate and it was tuned into an 80s station that specialised in Italian music giving this one-room restaurant a uniquely authentic feel. It was an unmissable experience and great value

I picked this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews. I was not disappointed. The food was reasonably priced and perfectly prepared as well as flavorful. The only problem was in finding the restaurant. There are no signs to identify the establishment. When Google Maps says you are there, you are really there.

I came here with some colleagues with some hopes based on the good reviews, and I must say I was delighted with my choice! Service was good and the staff was friendly. Food was of high quality, and portions were quite OK (even if the main course was a bit too much). The wild boar fillet was tender and melted nicely in the mouth, the asparagus quiche was tasty, and the white chocolate mousse was delicious. All this at a very reasonable price.Definitely recommended!

We went here as a large family group and enjoyed a fantastic night of food, wine and grappa. Family run, they took excellent care of us and we had a terrific experience. The visit to the cellar and sample their various grappas was a true highlight and one I will remember. Location is a bit out of the way but worth it. Unfortunately, weather was not good so we could experience what I can only imagine are wonderful views.
