Is something different in comparison with the general proposals that you can find in Altamura. Very high quality at a very reasonable prices and you can heat the best quality as regards meat but prepared and cooked in a special and innovative way. Is not only "nouvelle cousine" and they did what is very difficoult to do : link together the best traditional flavours with a new form of elegance . The place is not so big ( maximum 40-45 places) and services are good as usual for this area . Prices are really ok but pay attention with the wine's chart ,some wines as like as the Vignapedale by Torrevento is out of price . In Rome you pay for it 12 a bottle here 16 and we're about 40 kms from the production zone

The location is very central. We manage to celebrate a birthday we were quiet few people, the sitting layout was good nice big space.The owner has made to us a standard menu: started/ two main course/second course to choose Meat or Fish. Overall no complain at all!A bit disappointed about the fish Spigola, letâs say was better if we didnât order, the meat tagliata was amazing!Thanks

That restaurant is conveniently located on one of the main roads of Altamura and quite near to the beautiful cathedral. Inside the decor is pleasant with trump d'oeil on the ceiling, bright and cheerful atmosphere. We had 'orecchiette with cime di rapa' and 'tagliata of podolica beef with artichokes'.We had some local Primitivo wine, good and well balanced.Very attentive and courteous service.

I've been here with friends, me and my buddy decided to have a deer main course. We had a nice starter, two glasses of red wine and some pasta with deer and tomato sauce. I had wild meat before and I was expecting a strong taste, but it wasn't just different, the meat was definitively off. I complained to my friends but I didn't say anything to the waiter, thinking probably I was wrong. When we went home me and my mate, the only two to have the deer dish, we both had strong stomach pain. We didn't sleep a lot that night and spend much of it in the toilette!!! Don't wonna condemn the place, probably is something they don't sell a lot, a mistake can happen, but they need to be careful. Would come back but I feel a little scared to be honest!

Although a tastefully decorated restaurant it lacked atmosphere. Admittedly it was low season but we had eaten at other restaurants as quiet but felt there was an atmosphere. The food was ok but was quite bland.

In some ways more of a high class country restaurant than agriturismo,with 80 places, but an outstanding 3 hour experience - beautifully restored building and surroundings, wonderful mix of traditional ingredients and imagination in the multi course mmenu, excellent wines and service . And excellent value.Easily accessible from Altamura

If you're looking for the perfect place for your first date, or to spend a night with your beloved one Artemura won't let you down. I've been here for tea few times and I was well impressed by the selection they offer. I work in the music business and every time the music was just right. People are very friendly and courtesy is their name. Very recommended.Thank you. Personally I select the music and and 'gratifying to note that both served to cheer his time. Jazz and 'type musiaca that I like best' and creates the right atmosphere to make that letting go is not too embarrassing. We know that those who come to Artemura not 'them dipassaggio but there is only to live the estrangement of this place and be kind and friendly and' the least we can do to repay the trust of our customers. Thanks again for the review. Goodbye ...

In vacanza per alcuni giorni in Basilicata, dopo aver visitato Matera e Alberobello, siamo venuti a cena in questo locale, per il gran consiglio di un amico di una amica.Ci siamo sistemati in un tavolo all'aperto e, dopo aver ascoltato le proposte del cameriere, abbiamo ordinato, tutti e 4, il menu "all you can eat", senza pentirceneSiamo partiti con alcuni antipasti: la classica bruschetta, carpaccio con rucola e grana, capocollo, squisito (in veneto è chiamato ossocollo), polpetta al sugo di pomodoro.Abbiamo continuato con un assaggio di paccheri al ragù di carne e poi, la CARNECome prima portata ci è stato servito un tagliere con cosciotto di pollo, saltimbocca, pezzettini di carne con paprica dolce e salsiccia arrotolata Abbiamo continuato con una tagliata al sangue e concluso (abbiamo alzato bandiera bianca, in realtà ...) con delle fettine molto sottili, impanate e passate alla grigliaDurante il pasto, mia moglie ha bevuto una birra e io ho invece cenato con un primitivo della casa, molto buonoUn caffè e un limoncello della casaCena praticamente perfetta, se poi spendete â¬81 in quattro persone... beh, che dire!
