Had a reservation for an anniversary celebration, had it booked for 3 weeks, arrived and it was closed! A rubbish note on a locked door saying closed for technical issues. I understand these things happen but the restuarant had all our contact details and they could have let us know prior to us wasting our time making our way there. We were guests in the hotel. We walked into the dining area in darkness, the staff put the light on and opened the room for us. We were given one menu between the 2 of us, and 2 for the children!I had to ask for an extra menu, I never saw the wine list, so ordered a diet coke, my husband nicer saw a drinks menu!! My daughter has a kidney condition can not drink water with mineral in it, I asked for tap water and I was told it would make us all I'll. when I did not order her a drink he changed his mind - we did not drink it any way!!The waiter was also cooking, this resulted in poor customer service at the front of house and average reheated food! The food was ok, but over priced for what it was, given the poor customer service and the lack of ambience! During our dining time a single man on his own arrived, the waiter was more interested in what this chap had on his iPad to get us more drinks / deserts etc we asked for the bill and left! Breakfast was a lot better!

wow ! millers cantine ist wirklich ein âgeheimtipâ für den es sich lohnt nach neuss nur zum essen zu fahren. und bitte folgen sie ihrem navi weiter, auch wenn sie denken âhier kann es nicht seinâ.richard hatte ja schon viele stationen in düsseldorf mit seinen gastro-konzepten, in denen er schon immer seine gäste begeistert hat. und diese begeisterung wird es auch wieder sein, welche dazu führt, dass er mit millers cantine erneut in den focus der geniesser rücken wird.an sich ist richard lieber ein stiller macher, aber dank seiner fähigkeiten als gastronom rückt er immer wieder in die öffentliche wahrnehmung.bitte weiter so !mit seiner partnerin rosina fuchs an seiner seite werden dann auch die bereiche ambiente und service perfekt ergänzt.das ambiente ist âcasualâ aber harmonisch und mit niveau. man soll ja das essen geniessen, aber sich auch wohl fühlen.als erstes hatte ich einen gruss aus der küche: ein getrüffeltes cremesüppchen.dann habe ich mir jahrgangssardinen mit etwas petersilienstampf gegönnt.danach hatte ich zwei kleine kalbsbratwürstchen mit puree und champagnerkraut.als hauptgang gab es dann köstliche medaillons vom rinderfilet mit trüffelsauce und getrüffeltem puree.abgerundet wird letztlich alles durch einen kompetenten und angemessen freundlich legeren service.für den sommer gibt es auch einen terrassen-aussenbereich. der wird im sommer besucht.zusammenfassend sage ich nur => BINGO !!!

Came here for evening meal with group of business colleagues, it takes some finding and looks nondescript from outside, inside they have 4 skittle alleys and a large dining area, food was very good with locally sourced dishes typical of the area and some decent local beers to try.

Wenn man typisch griechisch essen gehen möchte überrascht die Karte mit den vielen eher deutschen Gerichten schon. Wir entschieden und dennoch griechisch zu essen und so bestellten wir Oliven und Tsatsiki. Leider waren die Oliven total versalzen. Was macht überhaupt Salz an Oliven? Die Baby-Calamari waren lecker und das Gyros und die Lammsteaks auch. An den Kartoffelscheiben war gar kein Salz aber wir konnten dies vom Nachbartisch bekommen, da die Bedienung so gut wie nie draussen auftauchte. Der Fischsalat war such gut. Die Atmosphäre ist nett aber der Service ist leider eine Katastrophe. Es gibt besserer Griechen in Neuss und wenn der Service nicht stimmt, warum sollte man wiederkommen??

This restaurant is a true find. Located in a quite residential neighborhood not far from the Hafen area. Unassuming entrance but inside is a small relaxed and sophisticated ambiance. The wait staff is friendly, professional and pleasant. Nice menu and decent wine list. The splender is in the quality of each item on the menu. Not your typical German food, fresh Herbs and high quality ingredients establishes the basis of their menu. I had an outstanding pumpkin soup and ordered their recommended special which was fresh mussels, both were exceptional. Desert was a treat thanks to cleverly prepared Estragon sorbet.... The pride in the food preparation and presentation were obvious... Bottom line; nice ambiance, friendly staff, wonderful food at a fair price makes Byliny an outstanding dining experience !!!

We went there for dinner. I had a big bifteki and rice. Good stuff. The lamb shank looked great too. Unfortunately, I had to drive so no wine. Service was friendly and quick. Could pay be credit card which was useful.
