I have pleasure in commending this enthusiastic team of Hungarians who show an example in this area of how to welcome guests, service with a smile and deliver a very appetising meal. Although we only ordered two different salads, nonetheless quality was very good. As someone who relishes enjoying good Austrian wine, their Blau Frankish Holzner, by the glass was excellent. We went to Franz Josef for lunch and what amazing food I must say! We had the cream of asparagus soup, vegan chilli corn tofu and perch fillet with potatoes and salad. All the dishes were outstanding in taste and portion size. Both the ladies who were serving in the restaurant were extremely kind and always had a smile. We ordered one asparagus soup, so the lady asked us if we both would share it and got it served to us in two separate bowls without us telling to do so. The potatoes served with the fish fillet were lovely and buttery and the sauce was creamy and just what would go down well with fish. Also, not to forget.. they treated our daughter as a very important guest at the restaurant. She was readily given a book to read and a toy to play with. Happy with the overall hospitality. Highly highly recommend this restaurant.

Chose the See Restaurant for its stunning views of the lake - lovely terrace directly on the lake adjacent to the boat-docking. Food very acceptable without being sensational but I really did enjoy the Zander (pike-perch) filet served with roasted vegetables and potatoes. Very succulent pieces of bright white filet (no bones at all) cooked to perfection. Very hot day so being able to relax and take time over lunch with the fantastic views made for a very pleasant couple of hours.

There is a decent range of food to choose from and both the entree of buffalo mozzarella and the ribery steak were great.Lovely sitting outside to watch sunset colors changing. The staff were very friendly explaining everything and suggesting wines.Only criticism was that the service and attention was very slow and this with the restaurant well under half full.So, go when you have a couple of hours spare for dinner.Hello Les LandauThanks for your Feedback!Itâs Nice that you enjoyed your stay with us!Of cours my Restaurant is Not made for a quick Snack for half an our of stay! Yesterday 16.07.18 we were fully Booker, twice with two seatings! From 6-8 and from 8 on......Some tables went inside, maby thats the reason why some things took longer.
