I had to admit that we were there on one of the hottest days of the year. However, when we received our burgers, they were showing green spots all over the place; Clearly moldy buns.When we showed it to the waiter, he immediately took them back to the kitchen. However, we did get new ones a few minutes after, so clearly, they just replaced the buns. Needless to say our appetite was over.To be fair, we got a reduced bill, and they genuinely seemed embarrassed, but the fact that neither the cook or the waiter noticed the mold, doesn't really help. It was very hard to miss.A pity, we have been there before and enjoyed it, but won't go again.

We went here for a lunch this time, together with our 1 1/2 year old son. We sat in the garden which is cosy, but plain. The food and service are always great. Basic, pure flavours and sufficient vegetarian or gluten free options available.

Deze zaak bestaat amper 10 maanden, maar heeft alles om je te bekoren: vriendelijke bediening, heerlijke taarten, zeer smakelijke bagels, een heel originele inrichting(aan werkelijk alles is gedacht om een zelfde sfeer te creeren) en vlakbij parking Keizershallen en het centrum van Aalst. Je betaalt er wel een prijs voor, maar : 'voor wat hoort wat'.
