Find out what Indonesian restaurants to try in Canggu. Canggu is a coastal village and 10 km beach on the south coast of Bali, Indonesia. It lies approximately 10 kilometers north of Kuta, and presents a much more relaxing atmosphere of dining, cultural and beach activities. The main Canggu streets are Jalan Batu Bolong, Jalan Padang Linjong, Jalan Batu Mejan and Jalan Tanah Barak. Along Jalan Batu Bolong you find the temple of the dead, Pura Merajapati, and the Pipitan Cemetery. Along the beach there are two main temples, Pura Batu Bolong and Pura Batu Mejan, which are both hundreds of years old and were initiated for building by Dang Hyang Nirartha. The Canggu area used to have scenic views of paddy fields and coconut groves but current rapid developments are quickly replacing these traditional views with private villas.

What a find! Top shelf service with a cold washer, hand gel and bug spray on arrival. The staff were very accommodating and polite.The menu is diverse with western and Balinese offerings in surroundings that are modern and clean. I went for Mr Bobâs Ribs and was not disappointed. A large meaty slab of tender ribs was served up with a Balinese blend of spices and sauces. My wife had the Nasi Goreng Ayam which was packed with flavour. Being just north from the overpriced central Seminyak restaurants, the prices here were very reasonable. With 2 for 1 beers all day, you canât go wrong.A special shout out to manager Wiri for his excellent service and advice.

So my colleagues and I went to Fat Mermaid for lunch. I ordered Gado - Gado which tasted awful. I think they didn't put peanut in the sauce, instead they put too much tamarind. My colleagues' food was average. The fried rice is tasteless. We gave it a second chance, went there for dinner. IDR125k ++ for such tasteless Aglio Ollio. Three of us ordered chicken teriyaki n all tasted weird. Two of them were too salty and the other one was too sweet. The Mermaid noodle tasted funny. The bolognaise, french fries and steak were alright, not all of them were bad. Just walking by and decided to stop in for drinks and dessert. Casual Garden setting with great service. We had fried pineapple rings and homemade ice cream. Their cocktails were excellent and reasonably priced. Most of the items on the menu are less than 100k. Service was friendly and excellent. We will make our way back there to eat dinner that's the food looked really good. Go check it out if you're in the area.

We have arrived at Anita's Warung by chance and this was the beginning of a love story with the exceptional food Anita and Chris manage to produce every day and every night. Definitely one of the best pizza I had in years. I came here to see the Balinese dance performance and then wooooowww.. spectacular show i love the sound of the music, movement of the dancer so uniq. its traditional they call it gamelan. The food here was fantastic... served in dragon plate and taste so so delicious... Tugu was always perfect.

Best place to have breakfast in Canggu! The staff is extremely friendly, the food is healthy and amazing and the atmosphere is just relaxed. If you are staying close by, you should definitely visit the Cassava.
