This contemporary Indian Restaurant has very nice decor and attentive staff, it has good opening hours and easy access in the centre of town.The menu includes Vegetarian and Non-Veg Thali, which are quite big size.If you are looking for authentic Indian though, you will not find it here, the food is tasty but cooked for the Western palate with dishes being creamy and sweet, even the Vegetarian dishes. All in all, it is a pleasant place to eat and you will be full to bursting, but if you are looking for Authentic Indian food, look elsewhere, maybe you have to go to Stockholm.

Mitt första besök på Indian palace blev en positiv upplevelse. I sällskap av en god vän, inmundigande vi en vällagad måltid med en genuin känsla, het lammgryta med tillbehör. Köttet var nogrannt putsat och mycket mört, grytan fint kryddad och rejält het. Det tillhörande brödet och övriga tillbehör, kändes inte det minsta konstlade, utan förstärkte känslan av äkta indisk kokkonst, en trevlig indisk öl kompletterade måltiden väl, överlag mycket prisvärt och gott, hit går jag gärna igen.

At the moment there are 2 curry restaurants in Sundsvall, Taste of India and this one The Curry House. In my opinion this is the better restaurant of the two, mainly because curries here have more spice and flavour. The service is a little slow and the waiter was easily confused but when we did get the meal it was good.

We are not very often in an Indian restaurant, but we enjoy Indian cuisine once in a while and have never been disappointed. This visit was no exception, and we will definitely return next time we need to eat in Sundsvall. Thank you, Tandoorihouse!
