This restaurant is situated within the hotel Marigold. It serves both resident and non-resident guests. The ambiences is nice. Food was tasty. However, the chairs are not that comfortable as one would expect in a hotel restaurant. Also they should keep more fruits platters on the counter. The number of items on spread are limited. The staff needs to be trained that tea should be served with sugar/sugar free pouches and with tea spoon. Guest need not ask for.

Dakshin caters to the south indian palate with utmost authenticity. Food is extremely tasty. Service is excellent chef sankara ensures that every guest is attended to with care . He's well supported by the service staff. Mr. Anthony and his team spl mention of mr.kamesh give a personal touch is every guest. It's truly a paisa vasool experience. The dinner i had on November 2 was definitely spl. The food as always was very tasty served with utmost care and warmth. I want to highlight the variety of chutneys i got to eat. There was beetroot ridgegourd coriander tomato coconut and all were sooo tasty . Chef vikas has made them and made the dining experience unique. The first time I visited this restaurant was in 1998 and I really fell in love with the food, biriyani, roomali roti, and their mutton dishes. Biriyani was served piping hot with a side of warm thick curd and silky smooth mirch ka saalan, with an actual cooked and wilted chilli as garnish. I remember when I moved out from Hyderabad and if there was any aircraft or someone flying to Hyderabad (when the airport was at Begumpet), we used to order the biriyani and get it at our place of posting in various parts of India.But I again visited the restaurant in August 2019 and was thoroughly disappointed. The biriyani was tasteless, with hardly any masala and it was served with a side of insipid mirch ka salan and a poor apology for a raita. The raita was watery and runny and the mirch ka salan was grainy and horrible. Plus at such an establishment these side dishes were served in deceptive bowls, which look big from the outside and hold very little inside. Maybe one of the methods suggested by the professionals to maximise profits.We also made a mistake of ordering fresh lime water and fresh lime soda, which was made of synthetic materials and tasted horrible. Whatever happened to shikanji and lemon juice?The service was sub par and the waiter was just annoyed at God knows what, maybe got up on the wrong side of the bed. I read in the menu that the restaurant has grown over the years and had used professionals for the same, wherein lies the problem. The so called professionals, MBAs will only try to maximise profits and get a clinical system but they won't tell you how to make a good biriyani. They can just market stuff, but can't produce quality food. I could make out how the quality of their famed legendary biriyani has gone down beyond redemption. And to thin of it , I had made this journey solely to treat my family to this famous food item I so relished in the last century. I wonder whether these professionals can redeem what hey have squandered away.I wonder whether the family who ran this business and provided mouth watering biriyani in the late nineties and early 2000s will arrest this downfall, kick out the professionals and bring in the family and serve the wholesome food they used to serve earlier.

Right after Diwali on a holiday, went to Bidri. Must say we were delighted with excellent service and attention. Got help in selecting food. Later chef Taj Mohammed made sure everything was in order and the dinner was topped by mouth watering dessert! Truly an excellent evening! It is said that the first impression is your last impression.And Marriott has proved this very clearly. Right from the entry till exit, my experience here was awesome.I visited okra, all day dining restaurant with my family and we have ordered daal bidri, rice and serveral other item. This restaurant is situated inside the hotel Marriot Courtyard, but it is open for both -Hotel guests and others from outside too. It is spacious enough and has live cooking counter also. The staff is very pleasant and prompt to their jobs. Though the spread of fruits and other items is not that great as one would expect, the preparations are tasty. I asked the chef if there was any relation with its name and special Momo you make, the answer was not clear. They have no idea. The hotel premises and neighbourhood is not so impressive and therefore, I could not find non-resident guests from outside the hotel who would come to this restaurant for some speciality cousins.Dear Guest,Thank you for your feedback about your recent dining experience at MoMo Cafe.Itâs our endeavor to give good service and varieties to our guests.
