We strongly recommend Tandoori as your local Indian restaurant. They have a big menu to choose from, complemented withButter or plain Naan and a great drinks menu, though we prefer Indian beer.The service is always friendly and quick.A great place for a family celebration.

We have tried the other Indian restaurant in Kumeu. However this restaurant is streets ahead of the other one. It is very nicely appointed and the waiter was excellent quickly taking our order and bringing the drinks. my food was delicious and the depth of flavour and richness of the sauce, even now, makes my mouth water. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food

Popped in for a takeaway last week....dear o'dear, what a disaster. The staff greeted me with all the gushing enthusiasm of two people who were clearly expecting to get shot in the back sometime in the next 40 seconds, and the food! Jeeeezzzzz, the food. Two standard dishes....lamb biryani and chicken Madras.....tasteless, bland, awful. Rice so sticky it would've been better off being used for sushi. If I want Indian food diluted to death to meet the taste of Kiwis who don't really enjoy proper Indian food, I'll spoon a ladle of "curry" on to my plate at Valentines. If I go to an Indian restaurant it's because I want Indian food, like Mr & Mrs Pater might be serving up right now, in Calcutta. Curry Leaf in Kumeu lets the team down BADLY........the Westgate lot did us proud a few moths back.
