Firstly, I have to say that I have been visiting the Agra for many years. This year my wife said that she would like to have a meal at the Agra on New Years Eve for a change. So when I booked, they informed me that as they are busy they could only do 830, which was fine. On arrival they showed us to our table, we was offered a drink and popadoms immediately. And in good time they took our order, and considering that it was NYE it was served and what a fantastic meal we had. We visit many Indian restaurants and we always compare to the Agra and I can honestly state that they never compare.We always enjoy our visits and thoroughly recommend.

This is just up the road from where I work, and on occasion we have called in after work, as everyone knows, a curry after work is one of life's little luxuries.Have been here a few times now, and the food and service has always been good. As we go relatively early (usually around 6pm) there is never a problem getting a table.The staff are friendly, warm, helpful and courteous. I did ask once for an off menu item, which they happily arranged for me.The poppadum's are always crisp, and there is a very wide selection of chutneys and pickles. My favourite is the yellowy orange coconut that goes well with pretty much every other chutneyI have tried a few of the starters now, but I think the Sheek Kebab is my favourite, served on a sizzle platter with plenty of onions frying.I now get a Chicken Pathia (not on the menu) which is one of the best I have ever tasted. Really good food, great service, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere make this an ideal venue for an after work curry.We are going again next week, and taking another workmate.Keep up the good work.

So much food for the money. The nan bread is wonderful, hot, fresh, flavorful. We took ours to the Thames park for a lovely picnic. Service is friendly and quick. There are picnic tables near the market but we truly enjoyed sitting on s blanket under a tree in full view of the river- such s nice memory- itâs a short walk to the park. I enjoyed the chicken immensely! I highly recommend this vendor at the market!

My eldest son who lives in the area took my wife & I for dinner at Monty's last Saturday (8th Dec) We hadn't reserved a table, but being there quite early about 7pm we were able to get a table with out a problem. The food & service was really good, plus the staff were friendly & efficient, The restaurant is bright & clean, but from the outside it looks like a ladies hair salon, giving it a cold atmosphere appearance which is soon over come when seated on comfortable chairs with the tables not to close to each other. Would certainly recommend & go there again as all three of us enjoyed our meal & chose different dishes.. . .

Visited on rainy Saturday afternoon. Had some lovely dishes, tasty and good portions. Pau Bhaji, Kema Naan, Chicken Wings, Chilli Mogo and Samosa Chaat. The mogo was overcooked, the marinade was lovely though. Service was not bad, we didnât get asked for top up drinks or water. Could be improved on. The restaurant felt cold, could have done with heating cranked up as the place was only a third full. Would have given it 4/5 but the mogo (pretty easy to get right, service and cold restaurant were my reasons for 3). Weâd visit again so it canât be all bad.

Your staff is amazing and not sure magic you have done on them - all were doing the job as if it was their party and not just a job that they were doing - amazing motivated team that you have built. First time here and what a gem! Almost donât want to say how good because too many people will then come. A delight. Excellent service. The menu is not vast but it is sufficient. If you are vegetarian , vegan, coeliac then this is definitely the place for you. Meat eaters have sufficient choice too.A real cut above the usual Indian restaurant.
