I recently spent a week in Douala for a business trip with some colleagues and we decided to give this place a try after reading the positive reviews here. It was located about a fifteen minute walk from our hotel (Starland) and tucked in to a semi-residential part of town off of the main roads. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the owner, a young Indian man from Delhi who seated us immediately. He went over the specials for the day and made recommendations based off of what we told him we like. While they have a wide variety of items on the menu, all five of us picked some type of Indian food to enjoy. Both mutton dishes I had were fantastic, and everyone at the table was very happy with the quality, and quantity of the food. The service was fantastic as well and I highly recommend giving this place a try on your next trip to Douala.

Restaurant is located above the Mahima supermarket, with the entrance is the alley, leading to the parking area at the back of the supermarket. The ambience is somewhat cheap and nasty, and I don't really think the restaurant deserves the good ratings received, which is the only reason I visited the place. The food was either bland or very spicy, and does not compare to the Indian cuisine on offer from Bombay Masala, which is far better in terms of decor and quality of food. To be fair though, for the low price of the menu, you should not expect any better.
