I've been traveling Italy for 2 1/2 months and was craving something different. Thanks to the other reviews here I did the short walk out of the tourist area to Tiff's. And I went back again today to stock up for the weekend. The food is healthy, lightly seasoned and very mildly spiced. The exception is the chickpea appetizer with yogurt/cilantro sauce. I really enjoyed that as I love spicy food but I also enjoy their main dishes. The food is healthy and yummy and I enjoy the atmosphere and friendly staff. Also they serve real Ginger Beer that packs a punch! (it's in the refrigerator next to the water) And the homemade brownies are so delicious!Thank you Suzanne for the great review! We visited Vicenza to enjoy Palladio's architecture and lovely Italian food, but after a while found ourselves also longing for a proper Indian meal. We decided to try this Indian restaurant and were not disappointed. (And even returned.) The kitchen has reason to be proud of their work, and the service was pleasant as well. The wine selection could be improved (stick with the house white), but overall a place worth visiting. I would like to rate this cozy little restaurant a 5, but service/attention, both on arrival (getting someone to take our order or offer a beverage), and at meals end (trying to get the bill) was super slow. It was Saturday night, but not so busy that the staff could not be more on top of things.Reservations would be recommended for weekend nights. This is an easily located restaurant. Lovely, cozy & clean. Ambiance is calming. Servers are funny, helpful with menu questions and will let you know if you have ordered too much. The menu is one of the easiest Indian food menus I have seen. It is broken down nicely into appetizer, rices, breads and entrees by chicken, lamb, fish or vegetarian. I was impressed. All choices with English translation.Everything is served in copper serving dishes, keeping hot foods hot and cooler dishes cool. Mango lassi was chilled moderately.....but very refreshing. I'm not a fan of Indian beer but several choices are available. All served chilled.A basket of crispy & spicy naan chips arrives with 3 sauces....a spicy, a cooling cucumber & a sweet tamarind.The samosa appetizer comes 2 to an order. Vegetarian or meat filled option. The vegetarian choice was so delicous that I could be tempted to get several orders of just these to nosh on with a drink. My husband had the mixed plate appetizer which he enjoyed.Chicken tiki masala was served piping hot and perfectly seasoned. Lemon basmati rice very good. My husband had a spicy shrimp dish that was amazing, vegetable rice and a potato filled naan . No complaints with the food.I would highly recommend a visit here if you want to try something other than Italian foods.The food here at Buddha is super satisfying.Thank you to Hari our server for helping to make this a lovely experience. Please however, have the staff work on attentiveness and follow through with the customers.Prices are very reasonable too making this a definite "return to" establishment. LOVING BUDDHA!,
