We got a recommendation about this restaurant from the staff of the hotel we stayed at the same village. The restaurant is situated in the center of the village under ancient trees! We ordered souvlaki and mousaka, the service was good and very tasty food!The restaurant was full with local tourist!

We booked here for our evening meal the night before our trek, and I checked before hand that there would be vegan options for my wife. When we saw the menu, there was even a specific vegan menu, which consisted of a soup, a salad and a main, which was chick peas and mushrooms, so I chose a fish soup (lovely warm flavour), a 'Gastrodromio' greek salad (all the ingredients, presented beautifully, with feta cheese whipped into a foam - truly michelin star class) and fish for a main, served on a bed of ratatouille. Excellent presentation and flavours throughout. My wife's menu was similarly superb, with truffle flavour in the main dish, and her's also included a sugary treacle dessert which we shared. A great bottle of wine to go with it too, from a huge choice. Excellent food and service.

This has fine food--nothing special. It is in a sweet, quiet town. We had a variety of small plates, nothing exceptional, but clean and fine.

50 meters from the main promenade, surrounded by greenery, so it is pleasant even in the biggest sun! We came to the recommendation "tripAdvisor" to try the daily menu. Expectations are overcome. The service is advantageous, with its discreet suggestions it has achieved a great atmosphere and excellent food. I recommend this restaurant. Choosing a beer and wine is a great addition to the meal! There are 6 meals in the daily menu, no mistakes

This Restaurant have very fresh and delicious food. We had mediterranean plate for two which was very big, the food was more than enough and very tasty. We also had tzatziki - also very nice done. The service is on point as well. Will definitely visit again!

Visited here every year for past 5 years and previously it has been excellent. This year was a big disappointment. Barely enough meat to feed our large party and one who ordered chicken received her food over an hour later and we had all finished. The entrees were generous but no salads. It was such a let down that next year I wonât be returning.

ExcellentWe had the opportunity to visit the place twice. Both of the times the quality of the food was excellent as well as the service and the whole atmosphere of the place. The fish were fresh,tasteful and the rest of the plates were great! A great value of money and a great proposal too. Ps the owner of the place! We found Amalthea searching the net on our trip between Meteora and Thessaloniki and commented how one place can have so many good reviews.After visiting the charming brothers we fully understand why and how. It is exceptional. On arrival we immediately felt welcomed and that the owner genuinely wants to provide the best eating experience. The food was fresh and plentiful. We especially liked the sea bass, calamari, fried zucchini and Greek salad.Highly recommended.
