Exceptional family run hotel
Reviewed By billycL8850WHI cannot praise Liotopi hotel highly enough. Loulou and Dimitris have made this a very special place. The warmth of the welcome and hospitality throughout our stay was outstanding. Marcel, Daria and Sanisteaa were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The homemade breakfasts were unbelievable. Something different every day. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed super comfortable. Every couple of days wee treats and a fresh flower was left in the room; such a special touch. It was delightful to take a short walk to the "sister hotel" for our evening meal (right on the beach) where once again the staff was excellent. Anthony and Christophe as well as owner Dimitris, of course, with their easy friendliness made our meals special. Olympiada is a small quiet village with several tavernas/restaurants but no night life. Suited us perfectly. The village has a great bakery (but you need to be quick) and a couple of small supermarkets and chemist so if its shopping you like, you would need to hire a car. In our case we had wanted an "away from it all" holiday - just to chill and enjoy the experience. Well what an experience - The hotel Liotopi is a very special place as is Olympiada. I am so glad we found it.

Beach From Hotel
Reviewed By Peter HThis is a family run hotel that is now known as the Hotel Akroyiali and is located next to the beach. The room that we had was basic and adequate apart from the bathroom. This was the most compact washing facility ever seen and it is perfectly possible to shower whilst using the lavatory. It’s also worth noting that the double bed is actually two abutting single beds. The room we had included a balcony that overlooked Olympiada and was in the shade most of the day so it was a good place to get away from the sun and watch the world go by. The room can be noisy at night due to the adjacent restaurant however it does calm down around midnight and the rest of the night is peaceful. Breakfast was taken in the beach front restaurant and consisted on cheese, ham bread & jams and eggs with additions of fruit and cake. Service was efficient and the food was good. As we stayed half board, we ate in the restaurant for evening meals. The menu was extensive and the food was better than the usual Greek tavern fare and included a number of “family recipes”. Whilst the food was good it would be nice if the menu changed a little more from day to day to include new meals. Taking into account that this is a two-star hotel, it has a good location, the food is good and the service provided by Adonis exceptional.

All the apartments can host 2 to 4 persons. Keypoints: * Bedroom is fully separated from kitchen-living room. * Spacious apartments (40 square meters), modern and nicely decorated * All the apartments are equipped with kitchen facilities (plates, knifes, cooking facilities including tableware, casserole, frying pan, fridge of course, strainer, cutlery etc). * The Yasoo Holidays Complex has a washing machine available to all its customers which you can use at a very low cost. * Change of fresh linen/towels is included in the price(every 4 days). * All the payments (electricity, water, taxes etc) are included in the price. Also, use of Internet Wi-Fi is free and included in the price. * The nearest beach (3 minutes walk) is in the Olympiada village. This is the most suitable for children as it deepens gradually. * Many other organised beaches are nearby with many tavernas, beach bars, umbrellas etc. In the area of Olympiada (from 1 minute to 15 minutes car drive) there are about 10-15 beautiful beaches. Some of them are organised providing facilities like bars and tavernas while others are more "natural" * Yasoo Holidays is very near to the central market of Olympiada. Nearest supermarket is 2 minutes walk. * Large 32 inches Flat TV with multimedia playing capabilities * All apartments have full A/C which is included in the price * Just next to Yasoo there is the municipality parking of Olympiada and public parking which is free and no reservation is required * We can provide you maps, advice or even organize your excursions
Perfect place for families
Reviewed By Ni-nor KHad a bit of a job getting to the village as we decided to try taking the coach, so we were so glad of the warm welcome we received on arrival. Felt instantly relaxed. Was staying with my mother and my two year old so having the separate bedroom and the sofa bed worked well. All windows have amazing shutters that mean you can decide when bedtime is, a real plus for me! The small kitchen has all you need to make a simple breakfast etc. Good shower, lost of storage space and shared laundry facilities. Short walk to the beach through the little town. Very helpful with organising a taxi for us to return to the airport too. Overall it was a delightful place to stay, simple, relaxed and so perfect if you are with young children.

Nearby are excellent restaurants with reasonable prices, a small pedestrian road by the beach surrounded by chill-out bars, charming cafes and more. From the start it should be mentioned that the villa belongs to people who have invested time, financial resources and soul. We felt like we had come to our vacation home. Everything is set up and very well thought out, with a German precision :) The apartment has a spacious and comfortable bedroom, the living room has a kitchenette. You can dine both on big terrace and inside as well. The location is very close to the beach, yet isolated enough to offer peace at night. If you want a quiet holiday in which to rest and recharge your batteries, go here, we warmly recommend it.
