On a gloriously hot Sunday in August, we went for a ride on the Leipzig Hop-On, Hop-Off bus and were fortunate to alight at the Könneritzbrücke west of Leipzig City Centre. The lunch we had was delicious, the staff friendly and efficient, the setting beside the river delightful and cool on such a hot day. I would warmly recommend both the bus and the restaurant.

The restaurant is out of the city centre, but is near a tramline so is relatively easy to get to. Upon arrival we were given a very friendly welcome and the service was top notch. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere and the food was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone who fancies good Greek food.

We were underwhelmed.The waitress interspersed serving us with washing the Windows.All the staff were friendly but overly relaxed.Our Meze starter was fine,difficult to spoil.My partners spag boll was filling and tasty.I had grilled lamb,which was cooked longer than I would have preferred the vegetable were sad and soggy.The wine was reasonably priced.It was nice to sit outside in the sunshine but I could not recommend for food or service.

It was raining on our first night in Leipzig, so we decided to try this restaurant as it was near our hotel. The menu was difficult to understand, and while there were pictures they were so small and badly coloured, they didn't help. The starters of aubergine and mushrooms were oily and not very pleasant and the main courses were just bizarre. Due to the unusual (for Greek restaurants) lack of vegetarian food I ordered what I assumed was macaroni cheese and my partner had moussaka. The macaroni was penne pasta in a very thin and strangely pink sauce with melted cheese on top, and the moussaka was a square block of minced meat with a tomato(ish) sauce and some other veg with a 1cm layer of mashed potato on top. On the plus side, the wine and side salad were very good and the waiters were polite, but that didn't ease the disappointment.
