A small and modest tavern with original old village decor. Excellent traditional meat dishes and meze. Rebetiki live music. Very friendly service. It's a pity that it opens only during the weekends.

We came for lunch with a large family with children and babies, everyone enjoyed every course on the menu, not a single miss. One dinner wasn't enough, so we returned and again, food is simply great; Greek cuisine at its best. Pros:- Simple and tasty- Generous portions- Service is fast and curtous - Neat and clean- Inexpensive- Free parking - Easily accessible - Handicaped friendly Cons:Couldnt find any.

This place is a gem - most visitors are locals. Kekrops never fails to please. Service is fast and friendly and the setting is beautiful. Our favourite is the deep fried calamari and hand cut fried chips. The Greek salad is also very good.

A canteen type of establishment built up with veery cheap construction materials, without though offering any particular character of street eatery authenticity. Its not so idyllic location ( facing Varis-Koropiou avenue) does not also help. Personnel willing but unqualified. Probably a good place after a lousy hangover following a bachelor party, for a rainy Sunday noon or on your way back from the nearby beaches in a nice summer evening provided that you live in the wider area. I cannot see the reason why people from the other northern side of the city travel for 30-40kms to eat in this place. Good quality in meat and well prepared and this is apparently the only reason to go once. Quantity though not so generous for the prices charged. Starters and salads ok but nothing special. Main dishes should be accompanied with french fries at least.

We were staying for one night between flights at Athens' airport clostest town, Koropi. We found a wonderful little accomodation, 'Vicky's Place' (not in Tripadvisor) and then went out looking for dinner. As we were told there are very few eating options here. One we had read about was the 'Koukoumeles' in the pedestrian Papasideri street in the center. It is located in an old building, very different from the surrounding area and there were some chairs outside in vivid colours. But the place was shut up on a Sunday evening in the beginning of September.Thus we went for an ouzo and a glass of wine to the cafeteria-bar 'Domus' (not in Tripadvisor) a bit further up in the same pedestrian street. Then down again towards the little square, where there was a grill bar called 'Brizolakias' (not in Tripadvisor) with a big outdoor seating area.Translated a 'Brizolakias' means a man, who prepares small steaks. This is what we had, it was of excellent quality, also the salad, the potatoes and the pitta bread. When I went again through the Papasideri street the next day around lunch time the 'Koukoumeles' was still closed.

Dante's is an International Bar Restaurant in Koropi and it's very close to international airport of Athens. It's open from 9:00 am till late at night. We serve food, coffee, and cocktails.

When you are passing through or staying in Koropi or you have some hours to spent at Athens Airport this is a good place for your coffee in the morning or afternoon time or your drinks in the evening/night hours. When the weather is fine you can sit outside in its yard. The buildings that now are used as a bar once were a small complex of stables and house. Thus a sense of old traditional era remains. Strong Points are its Cocktails, snacks and yard. Couples, Friends, Solo or families doesn't matter. One can have a nice time here.

We went here after an event with the family. The portions are insane. Excellent salads, bread, chips and tzaziki - problem is that you are full before any of the meat comes and much of it gets left in the table. lamb chops and lamb shanks were superb. Avoid Kokoretsi - itâs just not very nice no matter how well prepared. There is a carnival atmosphere on the little street as this huge place and the taverna opposite (also huge) vie for trade with some balloon sellers and honking cars thrown into the mix.Very enjoyable afternoon with the only detracting factor being the waste of food in the place. Plates of food left on tables afterwards which is a bit sad. Kalyvia tops for meat taverna though.
