This restaurant is located on the mountain, has 2 large rooms and a large terrace.Very large parking and a play area for children.They specialise in meat, large portions & almost every kind of meat. The food is good, typical taverna food but the service is not good.We entered the restaurant and no one came to our attention for 3 minutes, eventhough they saw us.Over all, you eat well for â¬16-18 per person

The founder and owner Mr. Panagiotis is a 93 yo fellow who really worked hard in his life to rule and upgrade this great place for traditional dishes on the grill. Today he is sharing this success with his children and grandchildren. You'll find them with low profile over the charcoal , cooking the highest quality meats just to fulfill your expectations over the last 50 years (!). No matter what you choose to eat, you will remember these tastes and come back for more...

Enjoyed excellent cheese dishes of a variety and also tasty chops. Desert was simple but nice and the restaurant spacious.Unfortunately everyons smokes including in the non smoking area.

Paeania, the Liopesi of some decades ago, is scenic, pedicured and with several good eateries. Chouneri was gloriously described to us by gourmet-realis-aficionados, three in one. Cospopolitan eaters with a capacity for value for money. Our visit was memorable in approaching the rustic eatery, enjoying the articulate maitre d'o ~owner and the chief waiter and the clientele but:The little shrimps in the cone badly fried and with a disheartening aftertaste The weeds similarly in colour-texture and the tasteThe bakalao badly desalted and oven-grilled clumsily lacking body, tecture and that particular succulence of the Icelandic sagaFrench fries or chips badly friedCabbage and carrot salad wiry cut and dryPleurotus mushrooms banana-esqueAsparagus omelette- again nothing to write home about'Steaming' food presented with delayHouse wine acceptableProbably the night or our selection were not serendipitous but still- We do not reccomend it. I can tell you that from the first time I phone Niko to reserve a table for 16 people, He was so helpful from the start to the end.Great restaurant with tables inside and outside. The food was fantastic, big portions and fresh made greek burger style.try the tyrokroketes me zambon. fry cheese with ham in filo dough.The chicken, pork chops well cooked.the staff was friendly.

This place is a gem - most visitors are locals. Kekrops never fails to please. Service is fast and friendly and the setting is beautiful. Our favourite is the deep fried calamari and hand cut fried chips. The Greek salad is also very good.

Watch out guys, this resto really sucks.The kitchen is below average most of the food was frozen just out of the microwaves.Finally we just ask for a tomato or cucumbers but the didn't have because the salads are in cold sealed boxes pre prepared.

We went here after an event with the family. The portions are insane. Excellent salads, bread, chips and tzaziki - problem is that you are full before any of the meat comes and much of it gets left in the table. lamb chops and lamb shanks were superb. Avoid Kokoretsi - itâs just not very nice no matter how well prepared. There is a carnival atmosphere on the little street as this huge place and the taverna opposite (also huge) vie for trade with some balloon sellers and honking cars thrown into the mix.Very enjoyable afternoon with the only detracting factor being the waste of food in the place. Plates of food left on tables afterwards which is a bit sad. Kalyvia tops for meat taverna though.
