Realy nice hotel, pleasent room, friendly stuff and delicious German kitchen. Great outdoor garden, parking and highway near by (far enought to not hear noise from it). Generaly I strongly recoment this hotel for travelers and Norynberg visitors - there is a city bus stop near by.

Wir haben das Restaurant bereits 2 x zwecks einer gröÃeren Familienfeier besucht und waren nie enttäuscht, da hier ehrliche, Fränkische Küche an der Tagesordnung steht nad diese zudem auch sehr gut präsentiert wird und schmeckt. Letzten Sonntag waren wir zu Zweit dort abends essen, weil viele Gaststätten in der Umgebung Ruhetag hatten. Man sitzt gemütlich in groÃen Gasträumen, es gibt noch ein schönes Nebenzimmer, was für gröÃere Familienfeste ideal ist. Die Küche ist Schnörkellos aber gut. Am Sonntag gibt es als besonderes Schmankerl einen Bratentag, sie sind alle frisch und gut.

Zurück zum guten alten Flaschner! Nach langer Fahrradtour kommt man fast nach Hause... wird begrüÃt wie ein alter Bekannter, bekommt ein hervorragendes Bier und füllt die âkleine Lückeâ mit ein Paar Fränkischen (gab nur noch zwei, da morgen zu ist und die müssen halt frisch sein!!!) ein bisschen plaudern mit der Wirtin und den andern Gästen und dann nach Hause... ach wie ist das schön! Weiter so, Marion und Alfred!!

Wir waren mit Freunden zum dort angesagten Spareribs essen unterwegs. Sollte eine Spezialität des Hauses sein, also warum nicht, dachten wir. Als erstes möchte ich das Ambiente bewerten: auf Massenabfertigung eingestellt kam keine Gemütlichkeit auf. Die Gaststube bräuchte dringend eine Modernisierung. Die Spareribs waren mit Abstand das Schlechteste, was ich seit langem gegessen habe, da erfreut auch nicht das all you can eat Concept. Die erste Platte war gewürzt (schlecht) die nächste schmeckte nach absolut gar nichts, nur sehr trocken. Bei der Reklamation sagte man uns, man könne nichts dafür, dass wohl ein Teil nicht gewürzt wäre, das würde fix und fertig geliefert kommen! Also, das Leben ist definitiv zu kurz, um schlecht zu essen!

Hier passt wirklich alles! Der Service war top und die Schnitzel sind wirklich ausgezeichnet! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist perfekt - ich komme gerne wieder und kann es zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

If you want to try out typical frankish food, I think you are in the right place. The restaurant is well known, therefore a reservation is necessary! (at least for the weekend). The servants are pretty busy, so count for some time until you get your food and might a second glas of wine or beer. They told me the typical dish is 'Schäufele', I am not a big fan of porc meat, but I followed the advice. The 'Schäufele' comes with a Knödel and it was delicious! The 'Schäufele' is part of a shoulder and it was so tender. I would say more a winter dish or you share - this is another option on the menu card with a second salad and Knödel. The side salad was almost forgotten, but it was anyway not an highlight. I think they could work a bit on the salad bowl. I tasted the warm potato salad on my neighbor's plate, which was very tasty as well. It is a rustic place, (including noisy) very good food for a good price.

A tip from the hotel owner and a good one too: schnitzels, beer and other food all very well prepared. The kids loved it too. Indeed honest "Fränkische Küche"!

We went to this restaurant with the family to celebrate a birthday and we had a wonderful time. The food is very good and delicate, with a good attention to the details of the presentation. The wine was excellent too as well as the service which is very nice. A very good place to recommend in Wendelstein!
