This place serves great food and has a high quality menu to choose from. Since 2 yrs under new ownership and place has improved tremendously. The starters are fabulous and wide in variety. The staff is friendly and over all the ambiance and bar are very cozy. Worthwhile to visit and eat & drink outside when the weather allows it !

Believe the other reviews. This tiny, intimate restaurant is just off the main restaurant pitch of Korte Putstraat, so you can congratulate yourselves on being edgy and adventurous in getting about 20 metres away from everyone else. We were here on the strength of those reviews and also found ourselves having the surprise menu. Between us we have some quirky food exceptions and the chef steered expertly around these. We went for wine pairing with each course and were glad we did (and were corrected on any lingering prejudice against German red wines). I'd go back to s'Hertogenbosch on the strength of this restaurant alone (and there's a lot more to s'Hertogenbosch). For what it was and where it is, very good value.

We visited this restaurant with friends. First of all the table lay out is rather economically, thus we also had dinner sort of with our neighbours. One of the eaters was having lobster, this was apart from the fact that all lobster tools were not placed on the table prior to serving, also the lobster was about to be over cooked. Steaks were good in both quality and serving. The most irritating was the fact that there were hardly no noice absorbing elements in the room and therefore we could hardly communicate to the table members opposite of the table. We will consider another place next time

We were here with friends for lunch. We took the 6 course lunch with accompanying wines. There were some dishes which were very nice, but some were nominal and small. Amuses are not included. You have to pay for tab water and the water is not re-filled by the waiter. The sommelier didn't seem enthusiastic and no links were made between the wines and dishes. Also we didn't feel very welcome. They didn't ask if we liked the food... overall fine, but looking at the price not good enough and certainly not a Michelin star! The menu is limited in the sense that the restaurant presents 5 courses from which at random a menu can be chosen. The kitchen is flexible with adjustments and more complex requests like "vegetarian". Still it gives the feeling the menu is quite limited. The food is excellent and beautifully made up on the plates. Service is like it should be, friendly, on-time and helpfull. Despite all of this, leaving the restaurant after paying the bill, it left us a feeling as was it at least 15% -20% too expensive.

Food, nothing to declare, the head chief deserve his Mighelin Star. Food was really nice, fresh and well worked. Plates are well presented and tasted good. The aspect of the restaurant inside is a bit unformal but you can also have diner outsite on a few tables. That was our choice. We were 3 persons attending a Business trip in Holland. Then, we were REALLY disapointed about the service. When sit down on the table, we needed to ask for washing the table as there were all previous client traces on it. The waiters were really not friendly at all, look like they were anoyed of every single request weâve made. First the woman had never smiled once, the second man was smelling SO HARD the sweat and the second man spoke to us so bad when we just asked for a separated bill only for our company at the end of the diner (stupid horn). To resume, food is really nice, but service is not proper for a 1 Michel Star service AT ALL.

Visited this place on a business trip and we weren't disappointed. Very welcoming staff and despite not having an English menu the waitresses spent a lot of time trying to explain the dishes. The set-menu options are incredibly reasonable. I had the one which was excellent, 5 dishes for 30 euros. All the food was well cooked and of a very high quality. Excellent wine list and very attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended and would definitely go back.

Had been trying to book for months and finally it happened; first dinner at Fabuleux. Unfortunately it was not the experience I had anticipated. The facilities are amazing, the wines are great and the service seems competent but then again not. We had to refill our water glasses despite lots of attention and the food was a bit of a disappointment. It seemed like two of the four dishes had the same extras and it was all a bit bland. It could have been a bad evening so we will be back.

If you are on a budget, turn around and walk away. If you want to experience some truly spectacular food tastes, make a reservation and come here. The kitchen is open and visible from many tables. The preparations are carried out in haste but with a efficient and professional manner. The foods are assembled and created to bring out unusual flavor combinations. The wine list is meant to compliment the food but also stand on its' own merits. Overall an amazing restaurant in Vucht. Never would have expected it. Glad I happened to stumble upon it with a friend and we came back bringing others.On this evening with 5 friends, we tasted and talked and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I can not remember all that we ate. I can say the scallops were tremendous. The crispy tortilla with fresh tuna was as visually stimulating as it was tasty. The venison perfect. And the desserts to die for. I always bring a camera because I can't remember all this so some photos are attached.In the end, it was a great experience but probably on the pricey side for many. Well worth making a reservation and marking that special occasion.

Informal restaurant with excellent service and a delightfull host. Niels welcomes everybody as old friends, which they often are. His sister runs an efficient kitchen. Try the lobster, delicious. Prices are fairly high, but the quality overall excellent. Great neighbourhoud restaurant.
