The nearby APOLLO HOTEL where we stayed was fully booked for its restaurant, so we were recommended this one. Very pleasant and good food. The lamsgies (local lamb stew) was excellent. The next day we came there again, with other friends, after a relaxing walk through the sand dunes of Hulshorster Zand. Great place.

High quality restaurant!!, I ate a series of four dishes, each one from a different world of tastes. Waitress explained how to eat the dishes properly so the tastes would be in sync, wonderful experience of tastes in the mouth!It could be felt that the ingredients the food were made of are of top notch freshness and quality. The wine steward recommended a wonderful wine to drink.. the wine was exceptional as well... very rich taste which can't be experienced in mediocre wines!Thank you for an awesome service and experience! The restaurant is closely situated from het Loo (palace), so in summertime also nice for a pre or post dinner walk. The food served tasted very well for all dishes, though for bigger groups we noted that not all dishes were warm. Service was disappointing in comparison to the quality of the food. Uit het arrangement een diner. Het standaard menu wijzigen was geen enkel probleem, De Witte Berken zijn heel flexibel. Het restaurant is gezellig ingericht en heeft een ruime opstelling. De bediening optimaal. Het eten was zonder problemen van zeer goed niveau. Ik begrijp dat het druk bezocht wordt.

We had a lunch with some friends, it was during the kerst in Elburg event. Very busy, also in the restaurant. Therefore the lunch menu was simple, not too many choices and no special meals. A bit disappointing because we had been before in this restaurant. Service was ok. Will try another time when it is not so busy

The three course meal of this restaurant is great. The three of us chose a ribeye steak (2x) and a salmon dish (1x) for the main course. The salmon dish was just mouth watering and the ribeye meals were almost as good. The presentation of the meals was another highlight at this restaurant. The place is very clean and the outlook on the garden is magnificent. A place to keep in mind, we would say.

It started raining while we were visiting the shopping centre of Nunspeet and noticed Eethuisje Beregoed. When you walk into the restaurant it has has a nice atmosphere.The service is pleasant , we went for Cappuchino and Krokets on brown bread. The kroket on bread was ok.

A nice, atmospheric old eatery in Elspeet, ideal for walkers or cyclists. It's been on the go since 1760 and the interior has many period features. The ambience is great. And on a cold October day it was so enjoyable and warm indoors that one could be forgiven for being reluctant to go back out to the bikes.Staff are very attentive, with an excellent menu for snacks and meals. The website is in Dutch only, however. But you get a translation of what is available when you're there. Many tasty options, with local produce, nicely presented. You can have anything from a light snack to a filling meal.

During our stay at Villa Vennendal in Nunspeet we came across this gem! After a disappointing experience at the Hotel's restaurant both at breakfast and dinner, we were looking for a different venue to enjoy dinner. And voila, just across the road, at a few minutes walk from the hotel, we found restaurant Joris! This turned out to be popular place and it was packed on Saturday night. Service was very friendly and even though it was busy we were not rushed and the waiter took the time to have a nice chat. The menu is extensive and has something for every taste palet, and at reasonable prices. Each of us ordered something different and each meal was excellent. A very good dining experience!

De Leest is the other of two 3 Michelin star rated restaurants in the Netherlands.We had lunch here.Reception was casual not too formal and welcoming.Ambiance of restaurant is warm and pleasant, comfortable seats and temperature.We had 6 absolutely surprising spoon size appetizers before our other courses.I will not bother you with all the food we ate but if you like asian styled flavors in a contemporary version, De Leest is your restauarant.Many citrus flavors, lime, lemon, verbena, bergamot and thai/ indian spiced flavors.Smooth fresh creamy flavors, many fish items on the menu.The cuisson is just perfect for all dishes. The plates are being composed like small art work, which one may expect in a 3 star restaurant.Lovely matching combinations, no dare devils...The coffee or tea is being served with a numerous number of delicious, beautiful presented and tasty sweet bites.the wine list is just gorgeous and very affortable.If i had to name some draw backs of De leest it will be the use of many same tasting cirtus style flavors and the lack of seasonal game or dark meats on their menu.To conclude, De Leest is less pretentious and welcoming than the other 3 star restaurant in The Netherlands and its easier to get a reservation here.Their wonderful food is absolutely fantastic, but the goodie is that one pays way less here than at other same level restaurants.
