Piaf is without any doubt the best restaurant in Silkeborg serving food on what should be considered Michelin star level. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is friendly and accommodating, but the food is what makes Piaf special. Here you get real French inspired food at a very high level with constant focus on the taste and the ingredients. This place has a great brunch plate (everyday) and a great menu in general. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. There is a sitting area outside which is nice during the summer period.

We ordered a five-course gourmet menu and got more than that. We particularly liked the fish (sandart in Danish - pike-pearch). The selection of cheeses exceeded what we have ever experienced: literally more than 100 varieties, most French, but also some of the new Danish "innovation cheeses". The service was professional, yet friendly and with great sense of humour.The wine-menu was worth every penny. We got five different Austrian wines, perfectly in harmony with the food. Conclusion: Probably the best restaurant we have ever visited.

My wife and I strolled in looking for a late afternoon dinner. They were technically closed between lunch and dinner, but manager Jonas Bak Bødskov welcomed us anyway and sat us down at a cozy little table overlooking the park. He recommended delicious selections for us and the accompanying wine he selected was perfect. We enjoyed some conversation with him during our delightful visit to his restaurant. Both the food and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended.
