Orangeriet is located in Gl. Skovriddergaard a property mainly used for conferences and meetings in a gorgeous location on the outskirts of Silkeborg. The food at Orangeriet is very good whether for lunch or dinner. The place is however starting to look a bit tired and the staff is very friendly but not very professional.Dear RoteFuchs, Thank you very much for your review of Restaurant Orangeriet. Had a meal here this evening with two colleagues and it was fine except for the wait as there was a large Norwegian party in that sapped staff resources a little. Service was good and friendly. My colleagues had steak but the ones they wanted were off unfortunately which were the local ones. I had mussels and they were not the best that I have had and were a bit shrivelled! The sauce was good though.Will come again and have steak!

This is a typical thai restaurant. Neat decor, not fancy. Very friendly and helpful staf. The food is really great - if you like thai food. It is very authentic, adapted I suppose meaning not to much chilly as you will get in Thailand.We used it several times also for take away

Went there to celibrate 31 years wedding anniversery. And it was a great experience..Tried their wednesday menu with a glass of wine. I dont eat fish so I got a special starter which was not on the menu. Great service and very friendly staff.Only minus was that we got a very small table halfway in a doorway..
