We visited No Stress Beach Bar 2 times. We cant comment about food, but I ask other visitors and they give good comments about food. We use only sunbed service with some beer offerings.Service was good and fast amd next time we try food department too. Beer and Coctails a bit expensive compared to others. Funny rock formation might be reason for prices.Beach area in this part of Lamai is very good for swimming and overall views are great. Few Jellyfish spotted yesterday and No Stress Bar crew collect âem to bin.

An excellent Restaurant within the Khwan Beach resort here in Ko Samui ! We had lunch here a couple of days ago,and very much enjoyed it.So we came back for evening meal.Excellent,attentive staff,pleasant environment,and the food is very,very good.We had the Farmers plate to share for starters(see pic) then we had the Angus 120 day steaks,and the chocolate Fondant for Desert! Forgot pictures of steak,but you all know what they look like ! It was cooked to perfection! This Restaurant is Definitely worth a try if you visit Ko Samui (Maenam Beach)Thank you very much for all your compliments , we hope to see you next time in our restaurant .GREG

I had the tuna tartar with salad and french fries and I was very pleased with my choice, absolutely delicious and a bit different from what is normally on offer locally. The fresh baguette brought to the table was also appreciated. Service was efficient and friendly, felt like the place was run by people who cared about what they do. Menu has lots of choice. I would return and recommend to friends.

Everything about this restaurant was super. We were on holiday and looking for something special and found it. It is a small restaurant and the owner/chef takes great pride in producing heavenly food by concentrating on a small number of covers and doing it well. Francois came out to talk to us after we had eaten and made us feel very special.

The Red Moon restaurant at The Fisherman's Village in Bophut Koh Samui was a great treat. In true French style, Chef and owner 'Gao' met, greeted and explain his menu to us. I enjoyed the very best curry Iv'e ever tasted but Gao is truly famous for his slow cooked (7 hour) New Zealand 'Lamb Shanks'. Sincere thanks Gao for an amazing evening.

Pretty interior, attentive service, great good portion fair priced Beef Carpaccio with Pesto and Parmesan...a bit of sweet balsamic emulsion would enhance the flavours, good bread and green salad, salad dressing a little bit bold. Great Beef Filet Steak at least 280 Grams, top blue cheese sauce, green peppercornsauce for me too salty and without a demiglace base...not good. Mashed potatoes with olive oil and parsley served in a small pot..kept it hot until the end of the meal. Great idea. Would love to have truffles with mashed potatoes one day. French fries prepared with not hot enough temperature oil, not crispy and too oily...also an oily smell...even after second preparation. You need different technology to prepare french fries. In the Bandara Resort, they are fantastic. Open wines okay, Whites and Roses could have more body. Price for the Beef Filet with 2 sides and 1 sauce 490 Baht. A very fair price! Imported high quality! Forget the ripoff in Fishermans village of those 'specialised steakhouses'! 3!!! times the price of Cote de Boef...Thank you so much for this revue, and all the details. I had the Charolais bavette (flank steak). The meat was top quality from the top French breed for meat (Charolais)... Supplied by a farm in Thailand. Supporting the local economy and lower the carbon impact !The cooking was very well executed by the French chef. Tender, juicy, nicely grilled and crispy with matching herbs and pepper on the top. Had the house made potato puree with it (double cooked, traditional style), and a good salad.The prices are so affordable for such a meat quality that I had to ask the cook about his supply ! Needless to say, the owner is passionate, and very welcoming, I stayed a few hours at the restaurant and he lent me a nice beach towel when I stepped down for a swim (need to deserve the steak !)The setting is simple, impeccably clean and tasteful, with an open terrasse directly on the beach.This was the highlight of my day in Ko Samui !
