Everything about this restaurant was super. We were on holiday and looking for something special and found it. It is a small restaurant and the owner/chef takes great pride in producing heavenly food by concentrating on a small number of covers and doing it well. Francois came out to talk to us after we had eaten and made us feel very special.

We loved this restaurant set at the beach side. There was always a very warm welcome and an extensive menu and specials board. The food is expertly freshly prepared, cooked and presented. Everything we ate here was delicious. We wish we had discovered The White Pearl earlier in our holiday!Thank you for your review and kind words. Went to Papas on our last night in KohSamui.would have gone again if we had found it earlier. Papa is a nice friendly guy who produces good honest food at good honest prices . A small resturant where you can enjoy a meal and watch the world go by. Lovely cold beer as well .

Located on Beach Road in the heart of the Fishermanâs Village. This is definitely not one of your standard Thai/Italian eateries, which there seem to be an abundance on Samui. 2 Fishes Samui would not be out of place with the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne.Itâs modernist decor, exposed polished concrete environment and black timber is actually quite comfortable. The placement of the kitchen within the restaurant allows patrons to watch the chefs at work. You can tell that owner/chef, Leandro, has worked in quality restaurants around the world just by the layout, the immaculate/cleanliness of the kitchen and the pride he has in his staff and the quality of the food.For starters we went with the Queenfish Carpaccio and the Roasted Eggplant puree, dry Olives, Pomegranate, Pecorino Cheese and Crostini. Both of our starters were amazing, full of flavour and impeccably presented.For mains we had the Prawn Risotto and Wilted Broccoli & Ricotta filled Tortellini with a pork sausage and white wine sauce. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, al denta just the way it should be.Highly recommended if you are looking for great Italian food and are happy to pay the price for a quality dining experience. You canât go wrong with eating at 2 Fishes Samui.

Have been to many restaurants on Samui and have to say that I found the perfect pizza here. Alan is a top Italian chef that runs a clean and efficient kitchen that turns out authentic Italian food. Great staff and good prices make Chef Alan and the whole team at Da Bardo the place to go on Samui for Italian food.

We were two adults and a teenage daughter.The menus were very interesting in that they were illuminated. We ordered a la carter and found the food to be of a high standard. The service was excellent as you would expect from an Anantara hotel. AVery dramatic entrance and good views of the sea before sunset. After sunset, there isnât very much to see so you may as well stay close the the hotel.Would we go back?
