Situated in the northeast of the Hageland region, Diest neighbours the provinces of Antwerp to its North, and Limburg to the East and is situated around 60 km from Brussels. The municipality comprises the city of Diest proper and the towns of Deurne, Kaggevinne, Molenstede, Schaffen and Webbekom. As of January 1, 2006, Diest had a total population of 22,845. The total area is 58.20 km² which gives a population density of 393 inhabitants per km².

Good selection and a relatively wide choise of options. It was good honest breakfast fare with a few twists and typically what Flemish people like. Don't expect exotic options. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, cold meats and fresh breads of different types. Good quality. Friendly and efficient service.

easily accessible from the E314, modern cosy setting. Friendly owners, correct service. We went for the 6 course set menu and were more than pleased with the flavours and presentation of all dishes. Perfect combination of tastes, some very original. Interesting, affordable winelist.We'll be back (perhaps in the garden that time)

Vriendelijk ontvangen. We kregen dadelijk de menukaart om onze keuze te maken. Het duurde wel even vooraleer ze onze keuze kwamen opnemen. Het eten was superlekker en de porties meer dan dan genoeg. Het is er fijn en aangenaam om te zitten. Je merkt wel dat er jobstudenten aan het werk zijn zonder ervaring in de horeca vb. ze komen het dessert of de koffie opnemen maar ruimen de tafel niet af. We komen hier zeker terug.

This cute restaurant is located in the beautiful countryside of Diest. We came here to experience the Local cuisine and was very impressed with our experience. The food was some of the best food we experienced during our stay in Belgium. The restaurant is set with a romantic ambiance that allowed for a romantic get away close to the city, but far enough to where you feel like your in the far off countryside. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, delicious food, or some good drinks, this is the place!

Leuke plaats voor een lichte lunch. Je kan er een ruim assortiment aan croques bereid met verschillende soorten brood krijgen. Ik nam een croque van bruin brood met geitenkaas, vijgen en honing. Ook aan koffie en desserten is er keuze genoeg.

We had a great dinner here, both the stew (Stoofpotje) and the fish (Gepoft zeepotje) were great! Excellent service, very friendly. We'll be back!

We've had our wedding at Hof te Rhode. It is well known in the region for its great food and wonderful location. The service was perfect, everything was well organized by their team. The food was outstanding! Surely it's more expensive than your average restaurant, but it's well worth it!

Dinner late thursday evening so place wasnt crowded. Seats are a bit packed. Service is excellent! Food was very good, perfectly served. Only thing to remark was that the self made fries werent perfectly cooked, the fat was a bit old i think . Very cozy place!
