Ate here for dinner. Started with amuse bouche of scallops with lemon foam. Followed by stuffed zucchini with cheese, and scallops. Then a brilliant and delicate wagyu that melted in my mouth. Dessert was raspberry tart and sorbet. Everything, including the wines, were delicious. Staff was highly attentive, communicative, and efficient. Would happily return. Ended with freshly made raspberry tart and sorbet. Superb.

This restaurant is underrated purely due to its location, in Haidian, West part of Beijing. As a result you get a great meal at a lower price. The cuisine is modern French, Mediterranean and fresh as it is the brain child of Chef Mauro Colagreco whose original restaurant Mirazur in Menton, France currently rank 3rd in the world 50 best restaurants. If you are lucky (or look out for it) you would even catch the renowned chef in one of his semi annually visit. The steaks and seafood(freshly flown in from France) is exceptional and you must also try its signature starter, the forest. This is an ingenious dish made to look like moss in the forest, made with assortment of mushrooms, quinoa, mashed potatoes and the famous parsley foam.Dear Joseatstheworld, thank you for sharing your good dining experience. This is a Parisian restaurant within walking distance from the Marriott which you must try! They have a one star Michelin chef and he makes only 4 dishes per week if you are lucky to try one. I had his mushroom pasta which was just amazing! Also, the service in this restaurant is absolutely tops! I can imagine anywhere where I was treated sooooo well and with such kindness! Coming to The View 3912 is really a unique experience. Located in Dawanglu, it's on the 39th floor and has stunning views of SKP and other neighbouring buildings at night! Looking out on the lights of the buildings and cars had a calming effect on me, especially being in a busy city like BeijingThe interior design of the restaurant is very classy and sophisticated. It is clear the owner Ms Lisa has an eye for style and taste. In addition to this, a violinist played here which created a beautiful atmosphereThe food here is something to behold though. The appetizers are varied and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the caviar and sea urchin and the soup was creamy and smooth. The mains here are prepared very well with the salmon and steak being outstanding. I enjoy my steak a lot and have eaten at several places in Beijing but the steak here was soft and tender. I paired this with a pinot noir but Ms Lisa can recommend you some other wines as she has an extensive background in wine tastingIn addition to the food quality is the excellent presentation of every dish. The dishes look like a work of artI would highly recommend anyone to come here with a loved one or with business associates or for a special occasion. The bread came warm . The cod fish was so fresh and amazingly cooked. The server named RT has excellent service. He is proactive in clearing the table, topping up water and also explaining the dishes. He can speak both good English and Chinese .
