Sorry to say that having picked up fish and chips last night the fish was not great.Batter really really thick and had to remove it. Luckily the fish itself was okay, but when you're looking forward to battered fish, plain fish not quite what you're wanting.Chips were okay and really big portion.

My husband & I have been coming here weekly for two months in an effort to try everything--the food is that good. Thus far the pies, fish, sausage (incredible), burgers (huge!), & pizza have been excellent. The tartar sauce is outstanding & chip portions are a meal on their own.

The Chaplain is one of those fairly rare takeaways that tick all the boxes, great food (I especially recommend building your own burger), good value and a friendly team.Don't let my review fool you they don't just do burgers, they have all sorts from hot dogs to curry and also a few dessert options. If you are in or near Kidlington and don't want to cook then I heartily recommend.Thank you for your great review. We are delighted you love our food and find out team friendly.
