Great afternoon in the pleasure gardens ..maze , butterfly house , pizza lunch , adventure play ground , train ride .. def worth the fees ... had a great afternoon in this part of the grounds .. great for us all .. age range 69 - 2 yrs !!

They don't build them like this anymore. The scale of the place is epic and the audio guide is excellent when you tour the various rooms. There is so much to see that we converted out ticket into an annual pass. Will be back to see what we missed on our first visit.

I spent a pleasant 45 mins in the museum whilst the wife shopped in Woodstock. Very interesting displays of the history, geography and culture of the area. Helpful staff and it is free!

Come along and see how conflict has affected the people and county of Oxfordshire through the ages, and how it continues to do so today. This is a brilliant museum, on the same site as the Oxfordshire museum and in the centre of Woodstock. The information was impeccably presented, with special sections on Afghanistan, Pegasus bridge on D-Day, the SOE spies (a particular interest), a section of WW1 trench, Churchill and the relief of Bergen-Belsen. The latter included eye witness accounts and was hard to bear. I spent an hour there, but could easily have spent three. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the central garden had plenty of seating. I will definitely come back for another visit.

Walked across the footpath from Blenheim Palace to visit this beautiful church & see the Churchill family graves . Truly beautiful church & a very humbling experience to visit the graves .
