We arrived in the area late and were stuck for something to eat so we had to find somewhere relatively local. The choices were the fish and chip shop or the Chinese takeaway, as the chippy was shut the decision was made for us.We ordered lemon chicken, 2 crispy chicken in cantonese sauce, plain boiled rice and a portion of chips.When we got home we found out that unfortunately one of the orders was wrong, 2 of the takeaways were supposed to be without veg but all 3 had no veg, not a major issue though.We plated the food and went to eat it, the cantonese dishes were vibrant in colour, extremely bright pinky/red. The chicken which was supposed to be crispy was anything but, the batter was soggy and quite sickly with the chicken being mushy. The chicken in the lemon chicken again was mushy and tasted as if it had been cooked with the skin on. The chicken in all 3 dishes was so soggy it was all lumped together. The chips were tasteless and the rice was coagulated.All in all a terrible eating experience, most disappointing.£22 of which about £18 went straight into the bin.

2nd year we've ordered Pizza for a crowd from here, they managed us very well considering we were a large party on both occasions. They made half the Pizzas then we went back a little later for some more. Worked well as we were camping with kids! (kids fist, adults later) topping choice not vast, but that's the secret to keeping the flow of pizzas coming out of the ovens! Great people, friendly staff, helpful and certainly on the ball!you need to phone order though on busy nights

We have had haddock and chips from here for the past few weeks. Always a friendly welcome and the best fish and chips around. Quick and always churning out the fish, waiting for the next customer. Yummy, will be back next Fridaythank you.glad you enjoy.coming back each week shows that we must be doing something right.

I have never been to a takeaway that will serve 3 people out off 4 saying no more orders such a rude person your customer service is poor shocking in fact . Food was ok nothing special wouldn't come back such a shame . You have no passion or motivation in your business .

Just delicious and simple. We have been before and found this Chippy after getting off the ferry. We wanted something traditional, home cooked and tasty. We found it here and, thankfully. I stored the location in my phone.Came home from Spain on the Santander-Plymouth ferry and called in before our 7 hour trip back to STOCKPORT.Itâs was busy, but soon, our orders were taken and out fresh, perfectly cooked tasty fish & chips was served.Piping hot, nice cup of tea. Plenty of free sauces and condiments and a spotless clean loo.We were asked a couple of times if everything was okay and a nice pleasant farewell when we left.Highly recommended.
