Quick lunch with business partners. You get quite good guidance from the waiters on the menu and suggestions.Starters just a salad to accompany main dish. Very fine ingredients make up the sharp taste, I finished the 'dressing sauce' with bread. Tasty veal schnitzel (best in Bayern i was told) with well seasoned potatoes. The veal meat was well done, but not super. Excellent service and some advise on the taste of my dessert tea make you aware that this is just a very good "Bayern" restaurant!Dear Marco B,thank you very much for your good evalutaion. We are happy you enjoyed our kitchen and service so well and are looking forward to wellcomming you again in our house.Best regardsRainer Lechner

We spent my dad's birthday at O'gricht and had a fantastic time.Although located in a very unusual area - Holzkirchen's industrial area - the restaurant's interior merges traditional Bavarian and modern aspects. We were greeted warmly and enjoyed fantastic service throughout the evening. The restaurant offers up to 6 course meals including or excluding wine pairing. The quality of the food was superb, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We'll be back!

The dreaded German service- sorry to bother you with my customI happened to be there twice on the same day and had I not arranged to meet a very long friend in the vending in the restaurants there wouldn’t have been enough horses around to pull me back in this placeI stopped there in the morning passing by for a quick breakfast in their downstairs bar- it was early (7.30) but full and great warm weatherNow queue discipline or control off whatsoever, no menus - you stood on the bar and if you knew what you wanted (and what hey had great) - ow ask for a menu- back in the queue .....After I ordered I was given my coffee and a time for my cooked breakfast- I was more than halfway through my coffe when this rang and faced the next problemYou guess it - back to the queue- (my seat was gönne by the time I came back - so don’t go alone), same long queue - I could see my food waiting on the pass slowly getting cold....- there are three of four stations but none for people who collect their orders- and they are not served either - how weird is thatI was so pi.....ed off that I honestly do not remember hw the food and coffee was in the end - looking at the queues they ist get something right but........ never again - downstairs From the memo Ent you enter the restaurant/bar upstairs you enter a different world - when i was back there in the evening I was impressed with the food, drinks on offer and even the service - as well as the view out of the floor to ceiling windows.....I could now continue to describe dishes etc but I am still to annoyed with my morning experience - but we had a great evening upstairsAvoid the bar like the plagueIf you have to go use the restaurant (it’s busy even midweek - might need to book - my friend did)Hello cramorra, thank you for your feedback !We are sorry that you were disappointed by our espressobar downstairs.Everything is selfservice there and most of the people decide from the food in the show case.If you want to order a full breakfast menu, we recommend our restaurant upstairs. Moreover we are very sorry, that there was a missunderstanding about collecting your order. You don´t have to get back in the queue, but you can pick it up directly at the pass with your given number. As a family business it is very important for us to make your stay as great as possible. We hope we can excite you next time.Greatings fro the Irschenberg,- your DINZLER-team

The restaurant is furnished in traditional bavarian Style, wood everywhere. The kitchen is perfect, the service also. There is large selection of traditional dishes and of course beer. My wife prefers fish, they also have a good choice. But you will not find very big choice of international cuisine.I eat there often, when traveling along the nearby highway A8.The quests are mostly surrounding locals and it seems, they like very much to celebrate in this inn.Closed on Tuesday.

Alter Wir

We stayed 2 nights, upon going to our destination and upon returning home. Both times the check-in was impeccable. Very friendly and correct. First time we had room 107 that is okay, but not really the family room we had booked in my opinion, 2nd time we had room 120 that was more the we needed, beautiful room. So it compensated. The rooms are German, they have an old look and feel, but that's on purpose, it is an 450 year old building. The bathrooms could use a hand and I wouldn't put carpets on the floor, but they are nice. The food at night. We took both times the 'Grillteller' The first time it was okay. It was a shame that they gave our plates to other people, where the kids put their hands in the plate and without any hesitation we got it afterwards. The second evening the man waiting us, was very rude and obnoxious. He thought he owned the place. The food wasn't what it was the first time. A lot of fat on the meat.Breakfast: Breakfast is very basic, but okay. I didn't take the fruit because it didn't look attractive. What was very disturbing was, that when we had a drink and even with the food the waiting staff was very hesitant to put the bill on our room.

We found out this restaurant drivign around our hotel and we were lucky to stop by!On top of the great service, the dinner was perfect as well as the wine proposed by the owner. the waiter was also great! We had the Argentinian beef (Excellent!) and the crepe for desert was awsome!!!!!!!!On top of that, it was not that expensive.... we ended up paying 25 EUR/person all included (main dish, desert, wine, water), so quite cheap for the quality!I would go back there for sure next time I'm in this area!

While stying 1 night in Weyarn, we decided to find a restaurant around our hotel and following our intuition and the GPS... we ended up in this restaurant in the middle of nowhere...Good for us because we really enjoyed our dinner that we took outside!A bit + for the waitress who was really nice since she first asked if she had to translate the menu and then spent 10 minutes explanaing each dish one by one!We took the grilled porc which was delicious and the desert which was also great! We did eat outside and the terrasse waas really nice close to the river and apprently the owner live just nextdoor.I do recommand this restaurant... but the only negative thing is that it's not esy to find for tourist!

Gasthaus Zum Goldenen Tal

Traditional Bavarian Restaurant Located In The Heart Of The Golden Valley

The owners of this eaterie are dedicated to hunting. Most walls are covered in antlers or other hunting trophies. Just behind us sat the Golden Pheasant after whom the Gasthaus is named. Some early asparagus soup was much enjoyed, however, Mrs Mac and I found the wild garlic soup had been swamped with cream and the croutons were few and very soft. The local trout, both rainbow and brown, my choice was fried to perfection and was so fresh. A really delicate clear river taste. The fried and boiled kartoffel was average. For dessert we mistook Philidelphia tiramisu for the real thing, a massive mistake, even the sliced strawberries did not help. Noting our disappointment, the host offered us his own prune infused schnapps, wow full marks, so fruity absolutely spot on. A great end to an average meal.
