We stayed in San Diego for a while and decided one weekday to take the trolly to the US/MX border at Tijuana just to wander around. A friend had recommended Caesar's for, of course, the Caesar Salad. It was wonderful! Highly recommend this historic restaurant in an historic hotel.

We were not expecting Italian, the name does not sound Italian, but, it was Italian and it was very good. The pasta was delicious, the pizza excellent and the tuna carpaccio outstanding. The service was excellent. I very much recommend this restaurant.

I read the reviews on Da Salvatore before I went. In words it sounded good. I was surprised to find a real Italian restaurant in Tijuana. The food was outstanding. The sevice was great. But you know a real Italian restaurant by the lemoncello. I can't wait to go back.
